. I know how you feel Glen as I have been waiting for mine forever. I finally got the scope mounted and ready to rock and roll on the hogs down in Warner Robin.

Not sure if anyone is looking for a 60 min SCBA tank but I just bought a NOS one pretty cheap. Msg me for the price I paid. However I am not sure if you can still get the inspection done since the mfg date is 2001. Maybe Norman can give some inputs. I have a compressor so I am not really concern about it as I needed a 4500 psi tank.

No one will do a hydro test on it since it's past the 15 year MFD. But as you said, if you have a compressor it's no big deal. The 15 year life cycle limitation bt DOT is geared towards firefighter use, but no testing place will test it.

I am at a dilemma . I am thinking about selling either my Cricket .25 or my MROD .25. I don't really need two of the same calibers. Was thinking about getting the Green mountain barrel .30 for the MROD but then after all said and done, the money spent on the MROD would be up there. However the MROD is easy to tune and Aftermarket parts are readily available.

As for the Cricket, well I love the gun but after adding the new carbon fiber shroud and the carbon fiber moderator, it's back to a rifle length. That kinds defeat the bullpup compactness. However the accuracy of this gun is really nothing to be compared with.

Why did you need the extra shroud? It didn't seem loud to me. Didn't you get it for long range hunting? If you are targeting critters 75 yards plus I doubt they would hear the report. It seemed pretty quiet for a 50 FPE gun.

I think he's as bad as I am. He can't leave anything alone. The difference is he buys more stuff, and I just keep doing stuff to my one gun,lol!

Put a camera or other recorder down range near a target and shoot the gun without the extra shroud and see if you can hear the gun report.

I bought a carbon fiber shroud because the guy selling it claims it was quieter than stock and comes with a 1/2 thread tip for a moderator. Well once I got the shroud and installed it, I realized it wasn't quieter . I figured since I have already dug a hole a little deep , a little deeper won't hurt

. I ended up contacting Donny Du for the moderator that was originally supposed to go with the shroud. It is REALLY QUIET now.. Even quieter than the Mrod and the Mrod has extra baffles work done by Travis .

On the off chance I get the Gladius this week, I'll be in Doughlasville for a meeting on Saturday morning and could probably make it to Lithonia by 2pm. I would have to get back to Columbus for a 7:30pm rehearsal though.

I work every Sat but if y'all are going to shoot. I might head out there for an hour or two after 3 pm. to zero in some of my guns. Mainly the Slayer. Still trying to find the most accurate bullets. Got some new boat tails from neilson ammo today.

I need to go shoot, but I've been shooting photos the last few weeks, so my gun shooting time has suffered a lot. I may be able to shoot this Saturday. I think Norman said he is usually busy on Saturdays, for what its worth? Glen, I think there is a conspiracy somewhere to keep you from having a Gladius,lol!

I'm in Bettendorf, IA and won't get back until Saturday afternoon. Officer Friendly is used to air gunners shooting there and won't mess with you so you all can go out there anytime. Hope Glen gets his gun soon so he can get rid of those pesky squirrels.

No word yet. According to them, they got it last Wednesday but they have to unpack it, check it into inventory, check it out then ship it out. Which, at this point, takes a week or more apparently.....
