You can tell time was taken machining the piston. The trigger looks like it might be simple.

The trigger is very simple, much like the one on the B1 I just did..

My 631 trigger looks like that. Sticks right out of the receiver.

Probably a much later model.  Mine is pretty old.

I doubt it, due to the plastic trigger.  Also, if the left side of the breech block pivot is counter bored, it should have a "distance" washer.

You also might want to check the auxiliary sear for dents while you're in there.  Happens when people forget to take the safety off and pull too hard.  Makes them lumpy.  And a stainless steel trigger is nice if you can afford it.

Yea, that diagram does show a left side washer. My gun isn't counterbored, no washer, and the fit is oh so German precise. No room for one.
Like I said mine is very early, pre-Beeman. I'm not sure what you meant about the trigger being plastic, aren't they all?

No the later models went to an aluminum trigger.

Thanks Carlos.  There is some great info in that thread.  I wonder if the new version that just came out is built exactly the same?

I hear the new rifle is a big disappointment.  Very expensive and just a pretty good shooter...

I think you may be misinformed, FWB took the old design and made it better.  I don't think you will find a higher quality springer at any price, let alone the bargain price of $650 @ champ choice.

Someone in another thread on Yellow posted an email for FWB where they had received date info on their rifle.  I sent a mail to that address and today I got a response. They said mine was too old and they had nothing on file.

The ARH Old School Tune Kit came in Monday.  I put the gun back together tonight and shot about 20 pellets through it and I was able to roll paint cans in the back yard at 20 yards.
