Over 100 shots! Wow, how's your arm and shoulder feel? I know if I'd put over 100 rounds through my XL1100 I'd be hurtin' for certain and I imagine the cocking effort on the 125 is probably higher. Thanks for the post, enjoy your new toy!Ed

Thanks for the post, enjoy your new toy!EdEd, my arm and shoulder are fine. The cocking force is specified as 50#, but it doesn't feel that strong. I'm a semi-retired handyman, so my work is very physical which keeps me in shape. Plus, I'm only 65, so it shouldn't be an issue for at least another ten years. Jay, I had higher expectations with these numbers, based on a video I saw awhile back. Maybe that guy did a tune on the gun before running the numbers. Once my confidence increases, I'll be getting into the gun to cleanup the rough edges and lube it. But for now, I just need to get some more lead downrange to break it in. The tuning videos I've watched make me crazy listening to some of these guys drone on and on and on! I need to find a nice concise video without all the side chatter. IMO, 36 minute videos are wayyyyyy too long, and need to be cut back. I fell asleep watching one last evening.
Ran another 50 pellets thru the 125 this morning, and saw further erosion of FPS. Not sure where it's going to settle at, but I got the bug today to dissect the gun and do a debur and lube. Step #1 taken with some scrap lumber and a 4" c-clamp. I chose this design because I had everything on hand in stock to build otTomorrow will be the day to get my feet wet on this bad boy.
I use blue painter tape to wrap the pins. There is one pin that holds the main sear you need to knock out.I made a small wooden one that I can drive in to clear the mounts but hold that sear.I then pull the real pin. You'll figure that out.
Thanks for all the input and information. I got it all apart and believe I found out why I'm not happy with the numbers. Can anyone tell me if this seal is supposed to look like this, or should it be smooth all the way around? Looks like it was a short shot in the mold when it was made, because it actually molded a radial channel in both directions from the verticle. Either way I'm calling PA to see if thy will ship me out a new seal, rate than to return the gun for another one. I've gone through all the debur on the stamped openings with fine files and emery cloth, and don't want to go through that again on another gun.
