Author Topic: Decovered a SET BACK trigger that fits ALL Marauders ( Updated as to cost ) (Read 17159 times))

While fiddling more with the recent Bottle-Rod conversion & was just about to dive in building another trick trigger blade so trigger finger was better positioned.

Then it occurred to me that trigger blade that was replaced in my RAW TM-1000 was also the Theoben design same as the M-rod trigger group

Huh ... dug around till finding the RAW / TM trigger blade setting then atop one another finding them identical in mount hole and adjustment screw locations. Setback obviously present too !

* ONLY MODIFICATION REQUIRED is to ever so slight enlarge pivot hole from its current @ .118" to .125"
Once done it gos into the trigger group adjusting identical to OEM trigger blade

Its rearward position & curved finger contact feels Sooo much better too.

Hopefully Martin at RAW can handle folks wanting some trigger blades

UPDATE

Martin at RAW has confirmed fit & need to ream or drill pivot to 1/8"
Has no problem selling them to us either

Looks like this fixes the swinging gate trigger feel.

I am surprised no one has mass produced a mood trigger replacement.

Honestly I'm not chasing the info being I got what was sought doing the one

.... if others contact Martin at RAW and can get more blades to rework into Marauder trigger groups, hopefully they will post a response as too part availability or better yet perhaps Martin doing a run of M-rod fitment replacements.

As stated ( Sorta ) just lit the fire of finding a replacement for a part so many have looked for, hoping this messenger does not get thrown under the bus for sharing it.

THIS IS AWESOME!!! I just sent a message to RAW. They don't really release part numbers. But if you ask for part availability they'll email you back with a yay or nay. If anything, they'll probably sell you a trigger from a mk4 trigger group. I suppose, if they're willing to sell a trigger blade, RAW will ask which one you'd want...

I also sent an inquiry email to RAW through their "contact us" on their website.
I would like to get 4 or 5 of these triggers.
Hopefully I will hear back from them soon with a yay or nay.

I'd be interested in any input from someone that installs on a Gen II Mrod. Given that its trigger is already setback from Gen I, additional setback, may be too much.

I suppose it is a matter of what is considered "dreadfully expensive"

I guess mine will be keeping the factory triggers.

I placed an order for one. I'm also going to ask if they have standard Mk4 blades as well, just in case they're less expensive.

Keep in mind ... TRIGGER BLADE IS BILLET and not sintered cast metal like the factory one. ( Which breaks quite easily ! )

Seems like a fair enough price to me for a Nice trigger blade !
