First thing to try is cock the hammer before trying to fil. Not sure what you have so far as a tank setup. Bottles either have 5/8 18 or M18 1.5 thread.
Morning and they are taking me out to eat for Father’s Day. Then I need to go and buy some kind of lunchbox/cooler. I actually have to go to work tomorrow. Drag. I was getting really good at retirement practice.

So happy venomous critters are rare in WI , and not many non venomous snakes around here either. I have seen a Timber Rattler, but it was caged at a park in SW WI
Mornin.. Finally got all the trim and skirting painted on the house and casting shack... looks great. I still have the deck boards on the front and ramp to do but that will be later this week. Looks like the rain will hold off until this afternoon so I'm going to try to get the mowing done here and at the barn. Other than that the plan is to just chill, relax and try to recover our bodies from this past week or so of hard work while we ponder future projects.

Take the action out of the stock so you can see the trigger sear. Sheridan has a very simple action. The bolt pulls back the hammer until it catches on the trigger sear. When you pull the trigger it releases the hammer and the hammer strikes the exhaust valve. Something is preventing the sear from catching on the hammer. The trigger sear might be so worn it can't hold the hammer anymore. A touch up with a fine file will restore the edge to the sear. The action is easy to observe when it is out of the stock.
is there a way to adjust the reg to say, 1000 psi? and maybe adjust or replace the hammer spring?
I have no idea; I doubt at this price point that they left anything adjustable, but I could be totally wrong. I don't have an exploded view of the gun, either. I'm new to air guns, so wouldn't know where to start in any case.
