How far are you going today Dan?  I always tried to make Las Cruces my first day out of So Cal.

We stayed in tucumcari got up at 5: 11 when my wife woke up. We will be on the road in a few minutes.

Mornin y’all. The last three days have been intense.  We’re taking it easy today.  I hope.

I’m expecting an order of pellets and slugs for the Flash today. I hope to do some testing.  The Flash is wicked accurate with JSB’s and I have high hopes for the slugs.  If this thing is a slug shooter it will make it the single best entry level PCP out there. 

Thinking about loading up the utility trailer for a run to the dump.  On the way back from the dump we can stop at our favorite nursery and get two or three yards of mushroom compost for our garden.

In addition to other things mentioned in other thread I machete some thorns out of my landscaping and hauled them to the woods. Saw some saplings growing from under my shop shelf so took all things off it to remove the heavy shelf and dig those saplings up then put everything back. I was hurting all day so glad to be resting.

Good morning continuing the battle of the bush.  It's been raining so the jungle decided to fight back. Went to HF and bought a pole hedge trimmer. Tired of the stinging bugs and not being able to reach to knock back stuff. So far it has done a good job and it's not heavy to handle. Finish mowing and weed whacking. Take care of stuff in the garden.

Good Morning! up at 5:24 AM which is 3:24 AM back home on the left coast. I slept 5 hours and 14 minutes.

 I am not planning anything for today I'll just go along with what the family here has to do.

 Mornin y’all.  Back to work today.  It’s overcast, rainy, and very humid.  The rain should keep things down to a dull roar at the park.

Just got home from my Grandsons last little league baseball game, they won and the boys had good season.  One more tournament at the end of the month, so I guess technically not his last.  It was his first year, he was really into it and me and him practiced all summer.  Good times!

Went to Lowe's 0700 hrs PST, was going to work on the fence but getting too hot.
Upper deck need corners fixed, working with Cee-ment Board, then either ceramic Tile or maybe metal to create a solid cover, checking $$$ !

Need to add the Scope risers to my FX Dynamic Express to get the scope in a position so I don't have to bury my face in the air tank.   The air tank position is the only problem I have come across with this FX Airgun.

Found a black rat swimming in my pool and when I tried to net him he dove like a frog which I haven't seen a rat do before. Netted him then folded the net so he couldn't get out them I stomped him like a cig butt and tossed him in the creek. Good riddance.

Finally got all the trim and skirting painted on the house and casting shack... looks great. I still have the deck boards on the front and ramp to do but that will be later this week.
Looks like the rain will hold off until this afternoon so I'm going to try to get the mowing done here and at the barn. Other than that the plan is to just chill, relax and try to recover our bodies from this past week or so of hard work while we ponder future projects.

Morning and they are taking me out to eat for Father’s Day.
Then I need to go and buy some kind of lunchbox/cooler.
I actually have to go to work tomorrow. Drag. I was getting really good at retirement practice.

I woke up at 5:30! We will be going to our son's Church today. This afternoon we will have lunch with grandkids here too.

 Only plans are brunch and later searing a some bacon wrapped beef tenderloins cuts on the grill, might have to go to Tractor Supply for more charcoal and lighter fluids too. I may get some time to work on the outdoor range so I have new things to shoot at

Mowing is done and I picked up the rest of the stuff left out from the week's projects.
The plan is to just chill for the rest of the day but I know me better than that.

Morning y’all.  Terrible weather this morning.  Clear and sunny when I woke up.  That means a horde of visitors at the park!  But by 10 a.m. the clouds were back and now it’s thundering comfortably.

Whew!  Dodged a bullet there.  I might have had to actually WORK if the weather hadn’t “improved”.

While I am a parent I am not a father.  The Iron Maiden is from my wife’s first marriage.  All of y’all what are fathers have a great day!

 Just checking my list, enough charcoal for rare steaks, I'll just fry the outer bacon a tad with the torch. Our brunch place was way busier tham ever, lucky dads, one boy was dressed for all his dad was fishing hat, cowboy boots hunting camo and the like LOL
