1st Country Rat of the season!

This country rat came to the base of the apple tree tonight to scavenge bird feeder spills ( and raid the feeder) I had the Disco and a Hunter Extreme and put on in the top of his head, a short dance and slow tail drop. (I had another picture but its very blurry  )

That's where my Country rat's are at lol. Fine shooting and pic brother and great to see you get one. It's been slow around here.  That's a good thing for the resident since the chicken coop hasn't had any raiders but would love to harvest a Bandit. My game cams show Bandit's as well as Country Rat's in the area but they are staying clear of the kill zone, wonder why. Last night was a great night for hanging in the hide but other then the local cat's and one pole cat who was passing through it was just a sip some java and take in the night life so to speak. I wrapped it up around 2:00am but still think from past night pest controls that this is the calm before the next wave of critters. The temps have been mild for this time of year so I believe that their not too stressed to put on pounds for the winter yet and start making death runs for the coop. Ed
