I do not care what anyone says my FWB Sport is one bad rifle. I may be sick with a chest cold, but I just had to put some pellets down range. It was like I could not miss, and the smartest move I made was I got her tuned. Do not get me wrong, my other German beauties are just as accurate, but this is one rifle that got a bad rap. Did it have recoil and spring noise that was irritating? YES! With a little tender loving care, correct lubing, & a spring guide she is wonderful. Being beech wood she is still lovely and no regrets getting her. My only regret was being stupid enough to try to sell her when cash was short, thank goodness no one tried to get her at the deep discounted price.

The R11 you own was one of my favorite rifles.

I've only handled them twice. An absolutely gorgeous rifle. I would hope they would come out with a .22 offering. Anyhow, one of them had droop so bad, that I don't see it ever being able to be scoped. Unless, there's such thing as a barrel-mount rail for a springer.

Even with open sights I could hit 1.5" spinner at 30 yards. No droop here. To bad my eyes are not good anymore, then I could shoot her without optics.

At the amazing price that CC currently has, IMO the FWB seem like a solid investment. I am currently searching for a Hunting/Hunting Field Target Scope, that would be a good choice for the D54 also.
