Very nice I may have to add a .22 P-Rod to my want list
Those are some great results with your PRod!Mine did not come that accurate out of the box, and I haven't spent too much time to fine tune it yet. My chrony strings were not as consistent as yours either, if I remember correctly. Maybe it is time to put more effort into tuning my PRod!
Congrats on the prod! They are fun (one of my favorite). Mine didn't arrive and shoot like that out of the box either. But with a little work and a deep clean now it's putting out some nice tight groups. Mine favors crosman premiers lubed w/krytech.

I couldn't believe it shot as good as it did out of the box, almost like someone tuned it before they sent it to me. I have only grouped the JSB 15.9 grain so far, maybe tomorrow evening I can group the CPHP's. Its nice to grab something lite weight and accurate to shoot that's for sure. Funny thing is, is when you go to fill that little air tube up all you do is crack the valve on the Scuba tank and its full in a second! I guess I got lucky on the tuned out of the box deal! My .25 cal. Mrod I had was almost the same way, it would shoot pellets in the same hole at 25 yards after I adjusted the fill pressure a little. I do think I will be shooting the Prod way more than my big bores or my Disco's, of course the Discos are fun too!Have you hunted with your Prod any or thinned out any pests with it?Wiliam
According to the specs on PA's site it's a 2900 PSI fill limit.

PA made a typo or copied bad literature from crosman. Prods are allot of fun and yes can take allot of pests. Mine are usually tuned to at least 16fpe, and get 24 shots using a BSB. At that power it does need some help with being quiet, but even with a LDC it is a nice short package. As you have found, the red dot is only good for short distances, such as pistol use. In carbine format, get a scope, such as 2-7x32AO or 3-9x40AO. Do not overkill it with a big, heavy scope. Make or buy a comb/cheek riser for the crosman skeleton stock. The most important thing is, shoot it and have fun!
Mine was shooting consistent 1/2" inch groups at 35 yards with JSB 18.1 gr. UNTIL i ran out of that particular tin. The next tin was all over the place. One other note: Never use a cleaning ROD in that barrel! My brother in law double loaded pellets and I caught him before he shot. I GENTLY used a .22 cal cleaning rod to push the pellets out of the breech, which somehow damaged the barrel enough to turn my 1/2" groups into 3" groups with the same Crosman Premiers. After fiddling with the thing for a week I ended up ordering a new barrel.
