You will need asymmetric section or angled fins on a dart type projectile to induce some spin, otherwise it will not be accurate. You will also need to design the correct amount of stability and spin to avoid resonance problems. Even defence manufacturers get it wrong sometimes.

Sabot design can be challenging as well.

Hydro testing went smoothly,
OD change at 500bar 0.06mm and length 1mm
0 bar and back to where we started so no permanent deformation.
Setup

Shield, machine 10mm polycarbonate glass, helmet and face shield.

50Mpa / 500 bar in the cylinder

No drama and I call it safe to use on 300bar fill.
Next test will be Alsafe carbon bottle. I don't trust to preasure it before hydro.

Thanks guys.

Some small parts to make and I can test the bigger valve and how it performs.
Going from 18mm to 22mm and over 50% more air capacity. More flow and no restrictions from the valve to the tube.
Going after the next thousand fpe mark.

Small update,
Valve retention block done

And adapter for Tikka swivel stock

Now I can use off the self butt stock borrowed from Tac frame.
More to come, just one more week and should be ready to test.

Side folding stock on loan from a friend. Before I can make aluminum version of my own. But no time now for that.

And folded view.

Will be easier to transport the rifle without disassembly.

Well the bigger airtube makes it look shorter as it gives some heft to contrast the long barrel.
Its heavier slightly and it's going to be very interesting first shot with the completely redesigned valve.

No obstructions from the tube to the valve and its 4mm bigger than the previous one.
