In Finnish "rata" is short of "ampumarata"= Shooting range and the "rata" part is also track as in race track or railway track, etc.
So there you have it, and good morning its 6 o'clock in the morning here in Finland.

Ok, now the fun and fine tuning begins, have gotten the brake roughed out and will be milling the ports today.
Will also make small adjustments to the ports of the rifle, polishing and contouring everything.
Bigger hammer is on the to do list, I want that valve open at 300bar!

Got all the chrony parts and got the pcb back together, added couple of buttons and eproms to the board and it now recognizes itself as beta master.

MARKO, Now that is a BRAKE   Size of a SOUP CAN     But ports to direct the massive  volume of gasses, to help SLOW recoil will be big difference..............Can't wait..................Thanks for all the updates.........

DO NOT put ports on 4  sides...........I suggest smaller HOLES on  TOP to HELP DIRECT flow UP and help with muzzle FLIP!!  Suggestion ONLY but I would NOT VENT on bottom as muzzle jumps plenty already...........Just my thoughts............It is your brake

Carl, your succestion is reasonable and maybe Marko could consider couple small holes, like 8-10 mm's but I must say it didn't actually jump. Recoil was very good what comes to direction but not quantity. Little bit less for me would be enough to feel I am shooting.  But it is easy to do and does not any harm in any way, so good idea.

We can do it on range if we think it is necessary.

I think a suppressor would do a great job dampening recoil, but then again it would have to be something big and sturdy. Do you have any questimations concerning muzzle pressure or expelled air volume?

It would have to be a huge can. I have 10" long can made from 2" pipe that's barely adequate for 300 fpe and has actually some challenges holding internals together. If you extrapolate that to Marko's power level it would not be practical anymore.

Suppressor is not necessary. I think no one considers this "backyard friendly" anyway.

I didn't even think that the suppressor would make this gun silent (they rarely do), it was just interesting to think how large the can would have to be to get any notable effect on recoil or sound.

Well you got the barrel correct but the reservoir is about 450cc.
Last i checked it took around 65-80bar for shot, max pressure we got the valve open was at 265-270bar
