Numbers are telling me weird things too but we must check and double check it again. But anyway, it seems possible. Not propable but possible. Where the heck you need helium?

Numbers are always fun, and doing math before building made me build it like a tank. I know it should hold at 4500psi, but still it's pretty scary thinking about shooting it that high.
Might be pull string type of deal the first time.

Well it didn't rain today. But no good news or numbers. Was setting up the radar and doing some test shots around 1250fpe with sabots, unfortunately blew the valve again. It was expected for I made it out of Pom.
Next will be out of pet-p and testing will continue next week at the range.

Edit: pulled some lead shrapnel from the bucket today, they do get pretty flatfen out hitting the plate i hung up there.

Now that it's in parts again, and I finally have the four jaw independant mounted.
Time to do some modifications, like 10mm more hammer stroke.

Hi Marko, This is really interesting technology you are developing with your really big bore! I am especially interested in your sabot design. Is this something you can share, as I am in need of some ideas for making some smaller sabots to solve a "lead free" hunting situation for a hunter in Japan. Any help would be imensely appreciated!!

Sorry John, cant help you out. Sabots are made by one comrade and its his design, I'm just shooting them.

Thanks Rob, yeah you are right, bullet nose in the mold is moveable so I can alter the weight by bullet length.

It was epic, there was one diablo on my workbench and I was like oh there's .177 on the table. No wait thats .30, then needed to take one .177 from the box and I was like whatta.. Soo tiny.
The size makes you kind of blind how big something is. I mostly shoot the .457 and not the smaller rounds.

Did couple of bullets more, 25 smaller and 20 bigger plus two extra to test how big is the biggest from the mold. Total amount of lead spent 5.8kg
107gram 140gram and 157gram / 2422grain
