Little ot, but its my thread anyways.
Chrony repair started, desoldered the old lcd and substituted it with a 2x20 row ic socket strips.
So if it goes bad for any reason I can just pull it out and replace.
Unfortunately found one of the lcd drivers to be cracked also so that needs replacing. Parts are on the way and hopefully will be here within next week.

One thing I found out trying to crony my 1" round ball gun was that I had to put my chronograph in the shade of my barn for it to function properly.   Some weird shadow / reflection problem .

No problems with readings, did check with labradar. The radar doesn't like sabots, it gets confused what to follow.
Works good without sabots.

Continuing my monolog, and casting experiments, some light rounds for sabot use on the fury. 450gr .50 hp and some 620gr or something. Couple of 1600gr also.

Well I'm slowly working my way there guys, it already kicks pretty good and I'm shooting the light stuff still.
And at lower pressures.
First full power pull will be interesting. Thinking about muzzle brake, it would be nice and would definitely look cool

So the day is here that I have tested a solid lead projectile. Weighing around 116 gram or 1790gr give or take half a gram.

Results are some what puzzling and we need more testing for at the moment I cant believe the labradar readings.
And its not so low that I don't dare to post it, quite the opposite. So no numbers until we have more proof one way or another. Short vid of the third shot on air with bullets and not sabots.

All I can say that with 165bar it kicks pretty hard with that projectile. And around 60-65bar is used for the shot.

Let me guess.... with the 1790 gr. bullet at 165 bar you are over 700 fps and/or 2000 FPE.... With that pressure drop, your valve is still open when the bullet exits the muzzle....

I need to check that recoil pad, and I really need to make a muzzle brake. 
Its borderline on being scary fun or just plain scary. I think 4500psi will be scary mostly.
Hmm thinking helium next, need a brave a foolish soul to risk life and limb volunteer to shoot it at 4500psi helium

If my numbers are low, then >1000 fps and >4000 FPE should be possible with the same bullet on 4500 psi Helium.... Methinks you are talking Elephant gun there....
