Leapers Swat 8x32 56 or NS Nighteater 8x32 60

I was hoping folks would have experience with both scopes and was wondering if they are on par with each other or does one have an edge.  This is assuming the price is the same and both would have the side wheel.  Any though or experiences would be appreciated.

I am gonna try my hand at some FT stuff so the 20 - 60 yard stuff at .177.  Both seem they can be had for right around 200 bucks.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it.  Might wanna check out the AAFTA website.  They have the regulations and different classes that you can participate in.   One reg that may be of interest to you now, is that the maximum allowable magnification for a scope is 12x.  If you have a higher magnification, it must be turned down the the factory marked setting of 12x or lower.  A course can have targets set at 8-10 yards, so you wanna think about that when selecting a scope, as higher power doesn't mean it'll work well under 15 yards...many don't.  Also, a good balance of the scope/rifle weight helps you stay on target.

Thanks for the info it is greatly appreciated.  Any recommendations in the 12x power.  Seems like i have saved myself 100 bucks atleast now.

If 8 yards is in play, maybe a bug buster is the way to go.

Can I ask what you are going to mount the scope onto?

Here's 2 that I can recommend. Both have sidewheel adjustment, 30mm tubes, zero locking feature.  Leapers are strong scopes.  I have been very happy with them.

If you are going to use the scope on a PCP, then you can use just about all of the better quality rifle scopes.  But for springers, and pistons, I'd stay towards the A/G rated scopes.

Don't know about those particular scopes but i have 2 4-16x40 ao scopes that i use to shoot out to 100+ yds and they are great scopes. Crystal clear from 10 yds all tbe way out as far as you can shoot. Leapers are great scopes. Im sure you'll be happy with them.

Thanks guys.  I will be attaching it to a custom qb79 hpa and then a cometa lynx whenever it is released.
