Gotta Love a Talon/Dor .257! Took a Squirrel at 70 yards thru both eyes earlier this week. Ate Squirrel and Dumpling's last night. Woo-Hoo!!!(Took it with the new Custom Mold Spitzer from NOE. Ultra accurate bullet!)KnifeMaker

I have really been leaning towards this rifle for the last several months. Can you tell me approximately how much you have invested in the rifle to shoot .257. This is not including any of your sighting devices. Just the cost of the rifle, barrel, valve, air tank, hammer, spring and any other parts you needed to make the conversion.I'm retiring Oct 1st, and plan on having a new rifle shortly afterwards and really like everything about the caliber. I have spoken with some of the rifle builders out there, but none of them are really interested in making the .257. They all want to sell the .308. I may eventually get the .308, but seemed drawn more to the .257.
