Any info on MrodAir's Airmax Plinkster and Varmint line of rifles coming out?

    Still need to reblue the rear of the barrel, cut down the grub screws so i can move my front scope ring up and do something to the stock.

What im amazed with is the accuracy of this cheapo barrel ! As it is untouched other than cleaning it with goo gone. I haven't even touched the crown.

that looks incredible MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is the Xl shroud quiet on a pcp ?? i know it worked out for a member who installed it on a qb 78?? I too am gonna replace the small grubs at the top of the breech, and retap the holes for imperial threads .. Im in the middle of bulk filling mine so time will tell

         No the xl shroud is mainly for looks. But.... the one that comes on the np2 is the same threads as the xl endcap and it should be pretty effective. I have one but it adds a good bit of length and  im a carbine kinda guy.  so I have plans to use it on a disco im building in .177 with a 14" barrel.

Quick research the part number on the monocore baffle seen above is NP214-001 .. These are 1.96 each at crosman, I just bought 4 for 11.84  shipped.Dont know where else you can get a legit monocore for 2 bux, or even 50

Oh and what i found about the grub screws is that you can run an 8-32 tap down the holes in the breach without even needing to drill out the original holes. And it holds much betterthan the original .. just an fyi 8-32 works great.

     That would be the one.

Also keep in mind the tube or shroud part is a larger ID for the NP2 as oppose to the XL series.

ill just machine a tube for it , no biggie.. I wanna test it on my plinkster

I ended up upgrading the ldc on my 177 varminter. It was my first pcp. I got it last year and compared to some good springers-FWB124 AND PRO SPORT, I had a blast with it. It was Cheap! The optics and scba tank costing much more! Great entry gun for PCPs.
