You can try the o-ring mod. It does help a little. Just stack some o-rings that fit the inside diameter of tbe tube. Cheap and easy to try.

David... One of my 2240 carbines and one of my 2240 > 2260 HPA builds were bouncing crazy. I added 3 #113 buna and 1 disco valve o-ring (about half the thickness of the #113). I sandwiched the thinner o-ring between 2 thicker ones. The 2240 uses the stock 2240 hammer spring and 2240 valve, and the HPA uses a stock disco spring and the stock disco valve..... no more bounce on either. Albeit, the HPA has a Challenger power adjuster installed.
