What are you guys having luck with? its killed two leapers so far and really hasnt had much use. feel like ill have to give a new scope every 6 months

A scope every month sounds good, I went through 3 Hawke scopes in a little over a month. I now have an old Tasco 3x9x32 airgun scope on my 350 magnum now that is holding up well. The last replacement I recieved from Hawke is a Hawke Airmax 30 SF, I am scared to put it on the 350, going to save it for my future pcp rifle.

There are people having success with some brands of scopes on magnum springers, for me I will just stay with the Tasco for now.

I have a Centerpoint 3X9X32 on my Hatsan 125 that was previously on my Umarex Octane. I have had great success with these inexpensive Centerpoints on several rifles, and while they are no-frills scopes, the glass is clear, mil-dot reticle is fine, and they hold zero. They are not AO scopes but are great for hunting.

Your mileage may vary, some folks say they have not worked out well for them, but I will swear by them.

The Tasco I am using is not AO either but I just took the lock ring off the front lens and adjust it just like like a front adjustable AO scope, it is tough to to get it to move at first but it loosens up nicely. I add masking tape and mark the yardage so I know where I'm at.

Yes I bought most of mine at Walmart. Nice thing about buying from them is if it fails it is easy to return or exchange if you keep the receipt

Must have got lucky, mine ate the leapers 4-16x40 first then had the 3-12x40 for seconds

I am a fan of Hawke Sports scopes. I have mounted them on my H155 Torpedo, H125 Sniper, H85 Sniper, Benji Trail for over 2 years now. No problem at all.

I don't know about Hawke anymore, my 350 magnum went through two Airmax EV's and one Varmint. I upgraded from the Varmint to the Airmax SF 30 but am to scared to put it on the 350, I think I am going to save it for a future pcp rifle.

I ended up mounting a straight 10x on my hatsan(s). Less moving parts for sure and it held up until I sold them all.

I have no idea whether the Hawke warranty is good or not, other than by hearsay. I have four of them and never had a problem.

imo hawke is over rated. Mueller has better glass for the money only problem they arent airgun rated. I have a ffp scope (falcon and swfa) that id enjoy and place on my gun before a hawke now. My eyes have seen the light.

The fixed SWFA 10 power Super Sniper is supposed to be a tough scope. Military issue I believe.

I have a Bushnell AR-223 3-12X40 on my Trail NP2 for about 10000 shots with no problem. Side focus, 223 ranging reticle (can be learned for pellets) and VERY clear!!

If you are going through the same scopes that are holding up for other folks, perhaps your issue is with shot cycle, scope mounting, or maxed out turret adjustment?

Between the way mine kicks and as loud and hold sensitive it is, I'm saving up for some moly paste and a jm parachute seal ... in your case it's chicken soup (couldn't hurt)
