Just a suggestion: before you spend time trying to fabricate a mount for a scope, try the Williams peep sight. You may be pleasantly surprised how accurate the gun becomes without the added weight of a scope.

I've got that same mount on my blue streak, and my Benji 342 both are scout mounted and work just fine.
That stinks I would like to buy another one. I may have to look for a used one at the Hickory NC show in October.Bryan
