Bottle Threads and fill valves

I have a 100 cu in Guerrilla bottle that is supposed to have 0.875-14UNF-2B (EDITED IN CASE OTHERS READ - should have been  0.625-18UNF-2B)  threads. Ninja bottles are the same.

What threads are on a 45 minute SCBA tank? Specifically Joe's Tiger Shark? My guerrilla bottle has a 2900 - 3000 regulator and I think I'd like to replace it with Joe's fill setup. Need to be sure the threads are the same.

According to Luxfer, bottles less than or equal to 23 cubic feet have 0.875-14UNF-2B threads and larger tanks have 0.875-14UNF threads. Can't seem to find the difference between the 2 threads. Joe sells the guppy, the Tiger shark and the great white with the same fill setup.

With 4500 psi, I need to know the threads match.

-2B refers to the fit of the threads.... ie a tolerance specification....

So a valve with these specs  0.875-14UNF  will be ok for a bottle with these specs  0.875-14UNF 2B?

SCBA = .875-14
Paintball = .625-18

UNF is Unified National Fine it can be 1B -2B -3B
B means it's and internal thread
B is the most common used.

The info I received months ago from NinjaRay was that paintball bottle threads were 5/8-18UNF 2B (5/8 = 0.875) and is also confirmed in the regulator replacement instructions found here:

Where it states :

"Remove the plastic cap and inspect the 5/8-18 UNF stem threads which screw into the bottle to ensure no damage has been caused due to shipping. If any damage has occurred do not install the regulator and contact NINJA PAINTBALL."

and to check the threads before installing the regulator using a thread gauge:

"NINJA PAINTBALL recommends that you use a GO / NO GO 5/8-18 UNF2B plug thread gauge on the cylinder threads. Available at MSC Supply www.mscdirect.com."

7/8" = 0.875

That is a 1/4" or 0.250" difference

No - 5/8=.625

Really confused now.
So how does Joe's valves fit carbon fiber and paintball tanks??

Got it now. While Joe's ad says fits both he must mean he has them to fit both and buyer has to specify.  Thanks everyone!

One of the really confusing areas for me when I first started looking into HPA support equipment such as tanks, valves,manifolds was the lack of complete info  at one site.

Manifolds

SCUBA uses three different types two are  yoke type K and ? ,    Din 300 threaded

SCBA  CF use CGA  347 for 4500 rated and CGA 346 I believe for the old style steel an aluminum cylinders that are rated less than 2216?

It looks like  all these 4500PSI ones  use .875 14 threads

.625 -18 used with 3000 PSI

.750-16 used with both 2,216 and 3,000 PSI
