I'm thinking on mounting a headlight on my NP2 for a little varmint shooting. I've seen a few combo sets with the light on top of the scope. Recently a member added some rails for a bi pod, I could do the same to mount a light.
I have a few questions:
How will does this setup work with a 3-9x40 scope?
How long do you think a decent light will last?
Where would would be the best place to mount it?
Any recommended proven brands for a magnum springer?

Uh, headlight as in a incandescent car headlight, I don't recommend that. Solid state led car headlight, maybe better, don't recommend them either. An actual lamp worn on your head by elastic band. probably not a good idea either. Recommend a using very good, high quality armament flashlight. Even these may not withstand the negative recoil of your spring gun.

Here we go, probably the best American made armament flashlight, bar none!

Probably the second best armament flashlights available!
For some good reading on All types of flashlights, do some research here......

Thanks Condor, i sure like the Elzetta Brand, but as always you have to pay dearly for that kind of quality.
It looks like thats my route. Thanks again for your response
