Only reason I can think of to shoot hogs at over 100yds a night is doing it from an existing stand to a feeder they are used to coming to.I would put up a second stand down wind of the trail they come in on at 20-50yds to the feeder. Being a bow hunter I use stands/blinds 15-20yds from trails or feeders all the time. As long as you are quiet and careful of your scent, plenty of close shots
I've always been concerned about the legal grey area of devices on big bore airguns. My understanding is that the ones used on airguns should be made in such a way that they are destroyed on a PB. But the big bores are shooting lead at speeds nearly even to muzzleloaders, so will these devices fail on a PB?
