HPA tank not opening

Earlier this year I picked up a 4500psi tank and reg from JDS Airman.  I've used it once to fill a rifle, gauge reads 3k still in the tank.  Problem is, none of my ninja adapter and hose assemblies will open the valve.  I've tried all 3 standard adapters and the long pin.  Nothing.
So I'm guessing there is debris clogging the regulator internally.  Any suggestions on what to do next?

What kind of "debris" could be holding 3K psi? I would say maybe the gauge is off and you have zero pressure? Wouldn't think it likely, but is it possible the bellville washers could have collapsed resulting in no pressure out of reg? Is your fill assemble "screwing" down? or maybe the out pressure is too high and not allowing you to depress the pin?

I would attempt to bleed the tank using the fill nipple, gauge, or Burst Disc staying away from it's path as you slowly unscrew until it starts hissing.

It's holding 3k pressure.  Hooked it up to my Hill and started pumping.
My thought was to try and bleed pressure through a burst disk.
Will give that a shot tonight after work.

If you have pump, just pump till foster valve opens then just barely crack the bleed screw open slowly just enough to allow air to escape w/o shutting the foster valve closed, this is safest way to drain.

Got the tank drained.  That was a 2+ hour process.
Regulator removed but the bonnet was still under pressure.  Is this normal?
Couldn't depress the pin until I released pressure in the bonnet.
JDS had me carefully pull the piston and blow out the regulator with canned air.
Done and reassembled.
Successful low pressure test.  Just haven't gotten the tank charged to do a high pressure test.

How were you able to release pressure from the bonnet? Did you unscrew it with pressure on it?
Sounds to me like maybe something is keeping your regulator piston from closing (regulating)and you then had the full bottle pressure in the reg, making it too hard for the Ninja Adapter to open the pin. I would think this to not be safe as had you gotten the adapter to open the pin, you would have then gotten full bottle pressure into the gun. Not a problem with 3K in tank, but would be a problem with 4500K in tank.
I think I would put a guage on the output as I filled to tank to be sure what it is. IF it goes over 3K as your fill goes over 3K I would stop.
I think this is one of the draw back of high output ASA reg, with a 5K burst disk on the output you can be looking for trouble. I'm guessing this is what you have?

I have a bottle that I regulated to 2100PSI for filling my Disco and I use a 3K disc.
