Welcome to the GTA Tazman. I don't own any german guns so I'll leave the advice to someone else but I think they will need more information to help you. Thanks for the response but man you need to try some decaf. LOLFirst, think about safety. Is it loaded? I am not a child and no it is not loaded. I always think safety first. When you say it won't cock or fire, that's two different things. What happens when you try to cock it? It doesn't lockIs it making noise? NoDoes it sound like something is binding up? NoHow familiar are you with the gun? Never fired the gunHow many times have you fired it before the problem? See aboveCan you post some pictures of it with the stock removed? NoWhy do you think the safety is stuck? Doesn't seem to go all the way to either sideLet us know more and I'm sure somebody here can help you get it working again. You're among friends. Good luck. p.s. I live about 180 miles north of St. Louis, in Illinois
Well if the gun is not stuck in a cocked mode meaning ready to fire and as said, can you feel the spring pressure up and down while trying to cock the rifle? If I lean the gun back the cocking arm swings towards the barrel and there is pressure all the way but it never locks. if so its probly not cocked but to be safe anyway go outside and point it in a safe direction! and adjust the trigger screw inward {clockwise} a few turns and try recocking the rifle. If the trigger is adjusted to far out {counter clockwise} it won't lock up! try this first and let us know what happens and we'll try to figure this out for you ok!Sounds like a possibility. The screww looks to be adjusted pretty far "out". I will try it this evening and let you know. Thank you.
