I've been retired for about 8 years and it's been pretty good but I still miss my old job.  There were a lot of exciting, fun, educational things to do and learn.   Lots of wonderful, interesting, brilliant people.   Of course their were some awful moments and horrible, selfish idiots too.

I have bumped into several people at the store and other places and I only remember about 50% of their names. They all seem to know mine. They say hi, and I respond courteously then Betty Lou asks me who they were. I don't know, someone from the old job. I do remember faces but that's about it.

 I ordered a Artemis M18 but got an M16 instead, will be keeping it anyhow nice gun and worth more than the one I ordered 

 Just got done shooting a good 30 or so JSB Kings out of my new Artemis M16A. Pellets load smooth, crown looks OK, pellets go in the same hole at 10m, raining out as soon as I got it out of the box 
 Wearing a 3-9 x 40 AO Sbony scope that came in the same truck.
 Funny story about the brown truck. I was headed home from a short day of work, SWMBO thought she could be home in time to sign, but as I get to the county road that leads to Collins I had to wait for the brown truck at the intersection. I pull out behind him to give my gun an escort, darn he has to stop at a place 1/2 way from where we met to my house, I head for home get my truck parked and start unloading some wood, got the tailgate open and I see the brown truck go past, then whip a u-turn in the main intersection, and pull right up to the driveway. Took him awhile to stack the assorted Amazon boxes that also made it here today, scopes HPA bottles and the like, he makes it to the stoop and ask me if that was a gun in the long box, claims he has not been delivering many as of late and wondered what was up with that. Then I informed him it was a gun, just not the powder burning kind, gave him a brief rundown on the big bores and such and the GTA.
 Then he hops in his truck and heads out of town the way he came in. I recently said the delivery companies have a direct route to my house, as they mostly come to town for me LOL.

I don't want to get it all done leaving me with nothing to do but sit down. I like the fact that I can just sit down if and when I want. The work will still be there when I get back up.

I am one not for standing still but there are time my bod says other wise, so I am learning to pace myself. Anyway, all the goodies have arrived safely and the fun has begun.

Yep, that's the key Kris.. know your limits and listen to your body. I am aat the point in my life where I don't need to push boundries and challenge myself.

The aluminum piston from the Legacy will really wake the 2100 up.  I'm averaging 700 fps at 12 pumps (7.9gr CPHP).  I will be installing one of Ron's O ring  equipped brass bolt probes shortly and I'm hoping for more consistency rather  than power.

If you don't plan to shoot BBs, have a look at some wood furniture offerings from Eric Gilman. He is a member here. You can get them finished or unfinished. You can even send him the gun for a more custom fit and install. Wood really transforms these guns into something special.

oh yes,i shall show her off 

one neat thing about the uragan,
the safe/fire indicator is a red anodized screw,
and is easily swapped with one of a different color.
