(think I'm set for pellets, now)
Quote from: Matchstickshooter (think I'm set for pellets, now) May have been off here 6 months or so but I still read on and off and I still order stuff and this stash goes back to PA's sell off of the H&N Baracuda Hunters. Kept reading how shooters were having a hard time finding pellets so I started poking around a little here and there and in the space of about 3 months or so between finding some locally and ordering the rest, added the 62 tins of pellets in 4 calibers in the pic to what I already have here. Don't think it was that pellets were scarce, was just a matter of they couldn't find the brand, style and weight they might have wanted because I had no problem finding stuff I also have to thank LtDan for a minor introduction to spreadsheets since to keep track of the about 90,000 pellets I now have in 4 calibers, it kinda became necessary.Ended the year with a Christmas present to myself and although it took a little over an extra month to get here along with traces requested from both myself and Wesbob, my Discovery VT-Z 3-12x42 SFIR is finally here. Now to just decide what it's going on...lol.p.s. - I'm one of those people who never thinks he's "set" for pellets

HOARDER! ha ha ha!I’m getting that way more these days, thinking I need more pellets on hand. In about a month or two I may have to put in a larger pellet order or maybe wait for PA to come out with one of their % off AND free shipping deals otherwise with taxes and shipping I’m not really making out compared to some other vendors I use for pellets.
I can now cross another one off my bucket list .Tonight I received a long sought after Crosman 101. This one is dated 1946 and is in need of restoration but seems complete. Exactly what I wanted... AND as a bonus the wood appears to have some nice figuring!Until you actually shoulder one of these you can not grasp what a fine air gun they are / must have been in the early years.See you on the Vintage Gate!!!!
Well, surprise, surprise! My Buckmark came today! and Cabela's went up in my estimation. I called Cabela's last night even though I knew that there was nothing they could do about FedEx sitting on my package, but I went through the Tracking list with the Outfitter, and she was appalled at the service, and called FedEx, but got the same song and dance that I did about "SmartPost" not being eligible for special handling, so I reiterated my dismay. and, she put me on hold, and evidently had a word with her supervisor, which she told me after she got back on the line. I still wasn't holding out much hope. Well, her supervisor evidently called somebody else's supervisor and had strong words, because my Pistol was in Columbia by 5:30AM, and out for delivery by 7:30. My wayward Buckmark arrived about 2:30PM on the FedEx Next Day truck. So, Cabela's did me solid! And the Buckmark shoots great! I am a happy camper today!
