I ordered and received XAegis bipod and HARRIS Engineering NO. 2 Flange nut to be installed on the forearm of my marauder pistol. The installation didn't go as smooth as I like as there's a cant in the scope with the bipod installed. I never use or install a bipod before but as it turns out, its a common problem to have. After a couple of hours making sure I installed the flange nut swivel stud as straight as possible and bending of the bipod legs, I finally made everything nice and straight. The bipod is only 20 bucks on amazon and looks to be of good quality. Looking forward to test it out once the weather permits.

I got home early yesterday and the mail lady handed me a small package that had my UTG/Leapers rear sub-compact sight in it and I mounted it on the Octane Elite right away. I really like the looks of it, but it’s as low as it’ll go and as far left as it’ll go. It’s shooting center, but still too high. I’ve got some figuring to do.

Received a Webley Nemesis and an Air Venturi V10 Match Air Pistol.

Nemesis: First time in a long time I wished that an airgun had a longer set of instructions. Way too many things to have to figure out. Other than that, it seems like a bargain and should be a ton of fun once the snow melts.

Air Venturi V10 Match Air Pistol: Think Beeman P17 re-designed by a team of professional match airgun shooters. Probably less power in exchange for an adjustable trigger, non-fiber-optic sights, and a much lower pump stroke effort required.

Update: Hard-to-Find Tips on Using the Webley Nemesis

If you get the Nemesis, here is some important information that is not included in the paltry "manual" or even online.

To remove the single-shot tray, point the gun in a safe direction and pull the bolt back while pulling the trigger to allow the bolt to go all the way back, then pull the tray straight up and out. Using the same technique to pull the bolt back all the way, slide the magazine in from the side. My guess is that Webley's lawyers didn't want to show the trigger being pulled as part of the loading process, but I have no evidence to back that statement up.

To switch the cocking handle to the other side (if you want to), Don't try to unscrew the bolt handle. Instead, poke an allen wrench or a thin screwdriver through the hole in the steel bolt at the rear of the pistol and unscrew it (lefty-loosey). Remove the bolt handle by twisting it and pulling out the side and then insert it into the other side, rotate it into place and screw the metal bold back in to secure it.

Oil the safety a little. It's very tight.

Put pellets into the magazine nose down and rotate the magazine feed mechanism enough to load the next pellet. This magazine works differently than the Diana Bandit/Chaser magazine and is much easier to load.

There are complaints about the Nemesis having a seal fail fairly early on. I'm going to experiment with silicone oil to try to prevent this.

You got it, Brett. Actually, I remounted the factory rear sight and backed up the peep as far as it would mount. I’m thinking of, besides filing, drilling it out a little to make a co-witness ghost ring out of it. Im going to play with it some more.

I came home this evening to a pleasant surprise.  Member Back-Roads sent me a package with some Crosman 1400 parts.  Thanks man!  I have another 1400 on the way that I would like restore.   More on that when it gets here.

 Got my .30 cal. pellet mold from NOE today, cleaned the mold gave it a quick heat cycle and cast a couple dozen 59 gr. pellets.

My little Daisy 880S Multi-Pump came home today.  I had loaned it to a friend to eliminate some pest pigeons that were ruining the paint on his tractor.  It seems his cat has handled the problem.  He didn't shoot a single pellet.

My 13xx forearm with pump guard came yesterday. this thing is awesome! not too big, not too small... looks great on the gun and most importantly... never pinch my skin again!!! it was a little on the pricey side with that shipping charge, $37.77 total, but i gotta say... worth every penny and a perfect alternative to the old "can never be found" black backpacker fatty forearm. i am very happy with this and thanks again Brandon for sharing that link.

Second return, scathing letter to just tape the tins together but NO! 6 tins dropped in a USPS bag and dropped in the mail.

The bag is full of deformed pellets and tins are empty. I'm getting my money back and going to Pyramid.
