I ordered a Barracuda Sky Blue laminate stock and an AR grip w/o finger grooves of the same color from Boyd's to fit the Benjamin Discovery action around 10 days ago; their production times are from 7 to 10 business days 

Still don't have the tracking number, but the marketing manager assured me (thru Messenger) that they are working on it 

I wonder how the fit is, but I do hope they have made improvements, as I have read that the tube channel is somewhat "generous."

I hope to get it before X'mas

I ordered a pair of Tactical Innovations rings in Royal Blue today for this stock:





Gonna replace (as I always do, lo!) the screws with deburred and polished stainless ones.

I did have a brand new blue pair, but when I looked for them I could not find them anywhere!

Suddenly, I remembered that I sold them along with my custom Tony Mele 10/22 rifle stock to one of my friends, WTH, lol!

In person, TI rings and their other hardware are really beautiful, gents!

The anodizing on them is really great, especially the Forest/Emerald Green, the Fire/Satin Red, and the Royal/Satin Blue.

I have their trigger housings, triggers, mag release levers, and rails for my other shooting hobby

I ordered this Moody precision 22pc set off Ebay,  currently all they offer is just a driver set just a wrench set or just a nut driver set unless you wanna spend $150 for the large deluxe set but I don't need everything.

This set which I wish they still offered cost me $33 shipped and it's NOS I've already got the driver set but could always use more.



You just gotta love an good quality yet still affordable American made tool ( their stuff is reasonably priced in general  )

Yes, the gauge hole does align with the 1701P's gauge perfectly, so you were right!

If I would use a PROD/1720T tube it won't, lol!

The Barracuda's cheek height enables me to scope it using low mounts.

I don't use a magazine anyway.

I am glad I chose it over the Evolution.

The other key to the Apache Rifle Case Hector gave to me with the D45 .20!  I guess he thinks I'll never send it back to him!

Anyway, the rifle had arrived some time ago and I was able to open it myself because I had the other duplicate key from Master Lock!

So this envelope arrives today from Hector and my wife, Cecelia, says it's from Hector you open it!

All that inside is a key that I already had.

Well anyway I already asked him to find another .20 LW Barrel for another D54..........

Yet this man is the one who introduced his sidelever to me to shoot and see what happens when you shoot another person's rifle?  You get to know that person even without actually meeting.

Another cryptic email from FedEx describing the convoluted course of my pellet order from PA.  After wandering around Georgia for a couple of days it made another detour and went back to the hub.  Hopefully they will get it on the right truck tomorrow.

Hey Rick.... The inletting on my Boyds Evolution was a bit "generous" but a couple strips of the soft "felt" side of Velcro took care or it nicely. 

HD sir, I used an old driver's license card on both sides where the the trigger assembly snuggles in.

Had to sharpen the top sections for the action to slide in, glued it with Gorilla, and now she is super tight like a virgin

FedEx dropped off a Ataman AP16 Compact in Black.  The DonnyFL adapter didn't ship with it, so I may have to wait till it arrives before I go shoot it.  All reports say it's really loud!
