RWS MEISTER SCHUTZE (34 CLASSIC) I’ve been wanting a springer, didn’t even know what this was, but figured it was less than half price, and according to HAM it’s super accurate, so I ordered it.

Received one of 2 packages of pellets from PA. Here is the shocker for the day, delivered by Fedex, package undamaged, how that guy got past my dogs without loosing his pants to deliver it to the front door is mind blowing, it was sitting on the seat of the tractor when I got home. I forgot to lock the gate this morning and noticed when I got home that the chain was not hooked the usual way, this first time that a Fedex delivery person has ever done that. Most of the time they toss it over the gate, what bothers me is that he got past the dogs without being tore up, which is a good thing I guess. I have one more package coming tomorrow and he will just have to toss it over the gate, I don't want somebody getting bit over a package delivery, the dogs may not be so gracious tomorrow.

PA finally back in the game with the pellets, they were taped up and packed in the black foam packing. This package contained H&N Excite Econ ll .177 pellets, I use these in my pistols.

My Midway pellet order came in today.

A couple tins of cheap (1.0 cents/pellet) 177s. Bought these Excite Plinking pellets before from other sellers and found they work fairly well in my lower power air rifles.

One tin of H&N FTT 22 that was a little more expensive than normal (2.8 cents/pellet). I still have a deep supply of cheap (1.2 cents/pellet) CPHP 22 pellets but wanted some better quality FTTs while I can still get them. Not certain if/when pellet selection and cost will return to pre-pandemic conditions.

A couple tins of the Vortex Strike 17.75 grain 22 pellets (2.4 cents/pellet). I've never tried these particular pellets, but hope the heavier 17.75 grain weight will work well in my Mod125 and AT44.

And... a lifetime(?) supply of the Vortex Strike 48.6 grain 30 cal pellets for my Mod130s break-barrel rifle. The Mod130s is hunting rifle, not a plinker, so this batch of 30 cal pellets should last many years. The clearance sale price I got on these on these (7.7 cents/pellet) was the best deal I could find anywhere. Decided it was worth using my last free shipping code for this pellet order.

Packaging was NOT very good. All these loose tins in a box with 3 tiny air bags (1 air bag popped) could have been UGLY. Thankfully there was no tin damage and pellets seem to be in very good condition... this time.

Ordered more .22 pellets. I have a couple of tins of the JSB Hades in the mix to try out. Hopefully they will do well in the Kral NP-03.

Received my first springer, an RWS Meistershuetze Pro Compact (that’s a mouthful) I don’t know much about springers but this sure gives me the impression of quality. Maybe I should have bought a cheap springer first so I know just how good this is, but for $168 to my door I couldn’t pass it up.

I loosened the pivot screws a little as many had suggested. Also did a quick barrel clean, and mounted the included RWS 3-9 scope. I figure it will have a decent break-in period, plus I’ve got to learn how to shoot a springer, but if what I saw today is any indication, I got a real keeper. I only put 30-40 CPHPs through it, but shot several 1/2 inch groups at 23 yards.

After seeing a YT video last week, I looked up an outfit in Texas called Buck Rail.
I ended up ordering the 2 piece optic mount for the 13xx pistols. They are 3D printed.

These came in today, and I'm impressed.

Unlike the Crosman 459 mounts, these sit on the radius of the pump tube.
No more twisting/turning of the barrel. Rock solid.
They are a bit longer ,and take 2 screws.

Always fought with shimming the 459's, so figured for free shipping and $9.......

I got a Xisico XSP 120 from Flying Dragon Air rifles today. By at the serial number I'd say this gun is new old stock from back in November of 2015. According to the serial number it's #121 for this model

I am definitely going to make a .22 barrel for one or two of my P-17 pistols. Looks like it won't be that big of a challenge. I have a few Crosman barrel cutoffs from stubby projects and such.

The compressor takes 10.6oz. so 2 bottle will give me 3 oil changes. Funny how they do that. That oil is made for a compressor that takes 10.6oz yet they sell it in 16oz. bottles.

My Hammers 3-9X40AO replacement came today. The first one was defective, the elevation turret would only turn 1/2 revolution.
Now maybe I can enjoy my RWS460.

Also my 72" boot laces for my Danner "Bull Run" boots came in today.

It was too windy to shoot this afternoon, maybe tomorrow.
