Got some money for Christmas and decided to get a 3D Printer. I've been looking for a while and needed one that worked with my MacBook and there weren't many. I finally decided on the SnapMaker 3 in 1, which combines the 3D Printer, Laser Engraver and a CNC Carving. It should keep me busy...

I fear there may be a pretty steep learning curve! I was actually in the market for a laser engraver that worked with Mac OS and there wasn't much to choose from, which was odd since Apple computers seem to be preferred by the artsy-fartsy crowd. I happened upon the SnapMaker which includes the Mac OS software, and even though it was a bit pricier than I was looking for, it was a 3-in-1 that came with the CNC Carver and the ED Printer modules. So, after pricing a 3D printer, a CNC Carver and a Laser Engraver, the price didn't seem so bad! It also takes up much less space than 3 separate machines would have. I guess I'll see how difficult it is once it arrives...
Paul my advice sit down and really spend a lot of time leveling the bed. I spend no less then 1 hour doing it and it shows in the quality of prints. Also start with PLA or PETG very easy to work with. Thingyverse will be your friend.
I bought a Crosman CO2 pistol from the local gun shop- $40. While I've wanted a Crosman 150 or 600 for a while, I've been wanting a Mark 1 forever.Looks a little rough but very functional. About to load a CO2 cylinder and find out what needs replacing

Just found out that when our company sold, our CEO (dude totally kicks some righteous buttocks) coordinated for us employees to STILL get not only a PTO buyout, but ALSO a company bonus. So I think I'm going to order some projectiles from NSA. Maybe get somethin' else Skeeter, that's some harsh luck. Sorry to hear.
Wow David, that is sad. Most of my CO2's get almost TWICE as many shots per cart. Does the 1911 have a Blow-Back feature? If so, it sounds like they traded performance for realistic "feel". What temps were you shooting it in?

The novelty runs out as quickly as the co2........but only 30 rounds seems awfully low for any blow backs I've ever/still own. Sounds like a there may be a leakage issue.
