Devil is in the details Kerry, I been bit by that myself.
Now I always read the fine print and try to have a spare set of UTG dovetail mounts on hand.
 

I have a set that will work, but I may spring for some higher quality ones for this scope.   I wish I had called them to ask if they would let me swap before I purchased.

Anyway, I did know that they were picatinny, I just forgot to order dovetails AND lens caps when I ordered the scope.  Oh well...

I've dealt with this a lot Kerry. Search utg dovetail to picatinny adapter on amazon and they have little very low profile one that work great. I have a couple sets on the way. That's too funny on the rifle box Scott! I bet you was all wound up by the time you figured it out.

Kris I ordered two sets of those yesterday they work great. I did receive my dovetail to picatinny rail last night for the z-rod. UPS must have dropped it off after 8pm. It worked perfect to pull the scope away from my eye allowing me a better cheek weld. I cant wait to get it all squared up and mounted today and see how shoots at 40-50 yards.

Oh yeah any time theres important details like the "gun" for the "scope" to still arrive the torture is at least 10 fold! When I plan a gun to be modded with several different things I just wait for everything to get here to start the project, but boy it is hard sometimes!!!!

i've already put it on had to order some high rings because the vantage is several inches longer than the bushnell 4.5-18 AR and i had to scoot it back because of the barrel band on the gauntlet and then another inch if i put the scope caps on . it had medium weavers on it . i ordered a pair of the Hawke Sport Optics Match 22102 high rings for it . the bushnell is a keeper but i did miss the half mil-dot reticle on the hawke . glad they kept it on the vantage .

This is something I struggle with as well.  I do not like the bushnell.  Whether or not I got a clone, who's to say?  I really dont know.  It was supposed to be real?

Either way, it's picky about what angle I look thru it, so maybe it's not.  Don't have that issue with any of my other RDS.  I do have a discovery reflex sight on the way.  Hope it's good, as it wasnt exactly cheap.

is it a bushnell AR scope that's giving you a problem or their red dot sight ?

Keep contemplating wether or not to but yet another dotsight...  went to cabellas earlier and browsed thier selection. The fake trijicon dotsight i got previous, they sell the "real" brand there(400$ vs 40$ i paid for the clone). With hands on experience, they are exactly the same with a blurry dot...  also got hands on experience with another dotsight i assumed was big looking at online pictures, but its tiny and i like the price point, a bushnell trs 25. Im not sure if i wanna get the name brand since their are clones that state 2 moa instead of bushnells 3 moa. Id like the smallest dot.



Btw, that place is prettyyyyyy expensive.

Shoulder stock for my Crosman 1322. It seriously helps steady my aim. Next question, under the law, is my 1322 still considered a pistol, or do I need to get a longer barrel to make it a legal hunting rifle?

My Crosman Black Friday order came (I was too late to grab a 397..dawdled, my bad). A 2300T, steel breaches for 1377s, shoulder stock and some pellets.

My flip up red dot came in while i was at work today... mixed feelings so far. Hopefully shoots/zeros without major issue tomorrow. Surprised the flip up/down doesnt power on/off the dot, you still have to hit the buttons, lame. Really suprized it came in a fancy box though.

Have you tried one of these Skeeter?



I like the one that I have.  Very easy to use.  Inexpensive too but not cheap feeling.
