Thanks to the multitude of enablers, on this forum, I ordered a Crosman P1377. Actually, I'd ordered it 3 times. The price kept on dropping between Wal-Mart and Amazon.
Wal-Mart ultimately won my business with a bargain price of $23 and change

Got two myself, one at $29 and one at $26, both from Amazon because Walmart would not ship to home or store.  Yet the P17 they will ship to me or the store.  Today anyway.
Does not make sense,  I am not in a restricted zip code and can walk in and buy firearms, and they often have the 1377 on the shelf.

My $160 Gauntlet arrived today.  Weather is horrible, but I did mount a BSA SWAT 3-12X44 Mil Dot scope on it and zeroed it shooting out the window of my office during a torrential downpour!  I'm happy to report it did exceptionally well!  I loaded the magazine with some Predator PolyMags I had handy and it seems to really like them!  I have not cleaned the barrel yet.  The cylinder was empty when it arrived, so I removed it and filled it to 2000 psi to test the output pressure.  It was sitting right at 995psi.  I then topped it off to 3000 psi and let it sit while I grabbed a bite to eat for lunch.  It was still sitting at 3000 psi when I returned!  That's a good sign!

It took 5 shot to get it near zero.  Below is a 5 shot string at 37 yards in a fairly heavy rain.  Not a bad group at all!  I still need to tweak zero a bit more, but that's a good start.  I then pulled out the chrony and ran a 10 shot string using the 8.02 grain PolyMags.  Here's the results:

All total I ran 40 rounds through it and used about 1500 psi of air, so I'm pretty happy with the purchase, especially at that price!  I did pick up the Hajimoto Super Tune Kit and hope for some improvements in efficiency once it's installed.

Sportsman’s Guide!  They are on sale for $179.99, but there was a $20 off coupon also. The coupon code is posted in the Bargain Gate post. These are old stock, my S/N looks to have a 2017 manufacture date, but it seems to shoot great and is holding air, so hard to complain about the age at that price!

Just got back from making a gun restoration supply run...
A gallon of Evaporust (from my motorcycle restoration days), a 2" PVC pipe and end cap, and a mild steel 7/32" (0.21875) mild steel rod.
Plan is to make a "tank" out of the PVC pipe and end cap to soak the rusted barrel in the "Evaporust" and then support the barrel on the mild steel rod in order to get an even coating of the Brownells "Oxpho Blue" that came earlier to reblue with.
If it works for this Pre-war PB winter project, I will share to help others restore old AirGuns.

These should be here tomorrow. For the 10y shooting I do I find the zero targets to be the best as I use every cross section I can as a aimpoint.

Picked up an 80th anniversary red Ryder at Walmart, Took my dad to see Midway ( excellent movie I highly recommend it , loved the original too ) and went to Walmart for a few things I didn't find. Found a few things I wasn't looking for like a shirt a couple pairs of pants ( needed them but wasn't planning to look and likely not find my size for the hundredth time ) and of course this red Ryder.
I'll post a picture after work tomorrow, nice looking with the stock medallion and all plus I lucked out getting a stock with some nice figure to it.
