I got an email from the seller that the deal is off. Someone told him mailing it across the border was bad. Said if it got scanned at customs and was determined to be a gun he would be in trouble and possibly get jail time.
 So he doesn't want to take that chance.
 
 I was able to cancel the Pay-pal this morning because he had not accepted it.

However, I packed up a gun for shipping to it's new owner by way of a tuner.

I just received a care package from member vigilandy and I am utterly blown away.
I know about the H9a pistol, but had no clue about everything else here.


When he declined my offer to pay the shipping I thought okay no big deal, but now I really wish he had accepted my offer because this is beyond generous.

In addition to the H9a which shoots strong and is in good condition for a user he sent a mostly complete rear cocking 1377, an additional steel breech with two bolts, the 177 barrel for the gun , a longer .22 barrel , a nice Simmons red dot, a cool adjustable power scope, and the nice aftermarket wood furniture for the 1377.

I just wanna give a big thanks to Andy, the h9a was enough but everything else is just wow.

I'm not normally a scope guy but with that Sun optics variable power scope that'll focus down to 10 yds I think I can find something to use it on.
I've got a B19 I powered way down that maybe I'll shoot more often if this pairs well with it.

I'll get some better pictures later, that and the holster when I can get around to making it.
Honestly if I wasn't so anxious to deal with everything else in this box I'd get on it right away .

Some were made in Canada, however I think the reason given was not true from my experience and within my knowledge. If it were a firearm then that would be different. I know that some places they consider airguns firearms, usually over a certain limit of power though. I have bought two airguns that were shipped to me from Canada (maybe  those sellers were wrong to ship?) but I doubt it because one was caught in customs for two weeks and then I got it!. I like to give people the benefit of doubt though, and maybe he was told that but probably with an ulterior motive or just wrongly assuming it to be so. IMO he was selling it too cheap and may have gotten "educated"? by someone who then bought it?  I certainly would have payed that much or more. I was happy that Scott was getting a good buy.

Well I was able to throw together this rear cocking left handed hold 22cal 1377 carbine with the parts.
It works , needs a couple screws and maybe some shaping to the pistol grip that you can barely hold but it's not bad for 5 minutes of assembly 
Beautiful stock and beautiful Birdseye and some flaming in what i assume is maple that the forearm is made from.



I'll probably use that red dot on it, but If i want to have a good laugh I'll put that long extension on the scope and mount it.

I tell ya the thought of that long extended scope on a 1377 really made my day, I don't know why it makes me laugh so much but I guess it's just so ludicrous.

I think Bill nailed it.
The seller replied shipping would be $40, I offered him $130.
$90 for the pistol + the $40 and he accepted.
I sent the funds via Paypal.
 Then a fellow member on that forum stepped up to the asking price.
He did not accept my Paypal and therefore I was able to cancel the payment (still pending).
 He shafted me for $10 more profit is the way I look at it but I now have $130 in my Paypal account for pellets, guns, scopes...etc.

No harm - no foul.
