My UTG 1" BugBuster 3-12X32 Scope, with Side AO, Mil-dot, and QD Rings came today along with UTG Leapers Dovetail to Picatinny/Weaver adapter Mount.

I recently bought the same Bug Buster.  I actually like it.  It's not the sharpest image but it will work well.  It's a cool looking compact scope.  I ordered a side wheel for it but got the wrong one.  It uses a specific SW for the BB scope.

 I had a heavy delivery day 10 lbs 1 lb pure lead ingots.
Then I ordered the new .217 hollow point NOE 4 cavity bullet mold.
Ending on a lighter note I also received my Olight rail mount tactical light and free mini keychain style super bright light, they were a 3 hour timed deal I found at the last minute, while watching the Wooded Beardsmans  video on youtube last Saturday. They are great products, the mini 2 went right onto my .22 at44 tactical rail.

A week ago I sent in my Sheridan pistol for repair to Baker.  Today I got a message that it was all finished. That is fast service!  I had anticipated that it would be 6 to 8 weeks so really surprised.

A week ago I sent in my Sheridan pistol for repair to Baker.  Today I got a message that it was all finished. That is fast service!  I had anticipated that it would be 6 to 8 weeks so really surprised.

It's great they got around to it quickly , but it is an easy quick job if you have the tools and parts handy. The last one I did it took longer to get the tools out and put them away than it did to put all new seals in. There isn't many parts and they are simple to work on IMO. Some of the old Benjamin's are harder for me to work on with my "homemade tools" because I have been unable to get some of the original specialty tools.

My only reason to post this after you had the seals installed is to encourage you to do it yourself next time. If you hang onto the great old pistol it is LIKELY to need seals again. I was advised/told by Tim McMurray of Mac1 that if someone owns these and plans on keeping them in working order it's best to get good at putting seals in them because that is their weak point. The tools needed are fairly priced and available as new production, that says a lot about how many owners determine they need them. I hope this helps you and others.

I respect that, for me it is easier to become the expert in just about all things that I need built or repaired, I don't do tiny like watches! I have done all types of construction, engine rebuilds, some transmissions, appliance repair, computers, etc... I am the guy that rips though the Warning labels. I can take apart and put together just about anything, I have confidence from my experience. With internet now and so many that put up instructions and even videos, even those with basic mechanical skills can learn and get the confidence to do more difficult repairs if they choose to, if not they can find someone who can easier.

Oh, on the Sheridan all the seals are done by removing the valve parts from the tube. The valve Body is soldered in so there is no transfer port seal. The hardest part is getting all the old lead seals out.

Thanks. He has a 150 as well, and a 157 ( 177 ) But I think I like the Ted Williams the best. I'll probably throw a holster on my lawn tractor and carry it around. If I need to pest.
