Oh boy... Our beast has an apatite.Betty Lou and I decided to take a ride after I got off work at noon today. We went down past Gantt Lake to a town 35 miles away. We did some shopping and stopped at an all you can eat fish joint.... great food.On the way down I noticed a nice little 2 person fishing boat on a trailer for sale. One the way back, of course, I had to stop and take a look.Called the little old man that owned it and made him and offer. He took the offer and it followed us home.Sun Dolphin American 12ft.Trailer with good tires, spare and lights. Two swivel seats.Motor Guide 39# thrust trolling motor.$550Tomorrow morning I will meet Mr. James, take him to breakfast and give him his money. That's right, he doesn't live near where the trailer was located. He lives about 7 miles from us and told me just to hook up to the trailer and bring it home with us.I love small town older folks. So, now we have a sweet little light weight water vessel to expand our adventures with. We have a county lake that is very lenient on fishing and already know us and approve of our airguns on site providing we are somewhat discreet.
I’m a little late but two days ago I ordered a Daystate Huntsman Regal XL and a carbon tank😬This is gonna be the longest week ever. I ordered and received a air arms tx 200 hunter carbine two months ago and as beautiful and accurate as it is I think a lighter rifle is the best choice for me.You will probably see the TX in the classified gate in the future. Is it next Friday yet?
Well, I found another rare oddball on the eBay Crosman auctions last week. It got here early yesterday afternoon. A Crosman model 99 Co2 .22cal lever action rifle. Built from 1965 to 1970, It has a 14 round internal magazine that holds 14 .22 pellets. Superpells, so wadcutters have to be used of the same length to prevent internal loader parts breakage. I'm thinking of trying the Beeman Silver Bears? The seller said it worked mechanically, but needed new seals. It cocked, but things that you should see moving didn't. So I'll investigate that when I can get the seal kit. Anyway, it should make a great rapid fire pesting rifle!? Here's a pic to drool over while the video finishes uploading.
