Fighting the urge to order a cothran valve for my armada. Seems useless to fight now the ideas been in my head!

$:-\$ $:-\$ Still trying to decide on a .22 Max Air or FX Wildcat .22 I want to give the whole bullpup thing one last try and I like the idea of aim and shoot like the Air Speed but the Crown is so sweet another FX stable mate is kinda hard to resist

Yaaa Yaaa Yaaa I know just buy them both. Problem is I promised Momma a new couch and loveseat with recliner seating for the living room before I buy any more toys.

I bought a........BUG-A-SALT 2.0 ......At my local Country Grocery Store for $25 and No Shipping. I then asked the owner Bruce if he would stock the Air Gun Supplies that I use. He laughed little bit....then said that he would give it Serious Consideration. He asked me to give him a list of any Air Guns and Supplies that I thought would sell well. I gave him a list of commonly used BB's & Pellets. I also gave him a list of Air Guns that I thought would sell well for him. He already stocks Fire Works for the 4th Of July and Firearm Ammunition for the Fall Hunting Seasons. The list that I gave him on pellets was all the pellets that Walmart does not have. The Walmart is a 40 mile round trip and his Grocery Store is only a 4 mile round trip for me. I sure hope he goes ahead with stocking the Air Gun Supplies, that would sure be really swell & convenient.

That is a good price for the Bug-A-Salt 2.0.
I use the Bug-A-Salt Lawn & Garden model because it shoots more salt and is for outside use.
I spray my shed and yard fence with hummingbird food and the bugs come by the hundreds.

Don, I have a .22 cal Streamline. I am amazed EVERY time I shoot it. I started with the Royale 400 with pepper laminate. Very nice rifle there too. I sold the 400 and after some time decided to try the Streamline. I am now thinking about selling the Streamline to try a Wildcat or some other pup.

What is it about the bull pups that doesn’t mesh with you? I have not ever shot one so I don’t know what to expect. I would hate to sell an awesome rifle for something else (bull pup) that I may not be as pleased with. I’m just trying to avoid a mistake just for the sake of wanting to try something different. I can’t justify having 2 high end PCPs..... yet.

Brett... I don't know about others but for me, I don't care for the bull pup design because;
It seems like everything is right there in my face.
I'm a long hair and I picture scenes from "The Mangler".
And, once again, that bum shoulder makes it uncomfortable to opertate.

For me every bullpup that I have owned had the cocking lever next to my right ear. To me that is just over the top awkward. The Evanix Max Air semi auto and FX Wildcat both have the cocking lever located just above the trigger which is just a more comfortable location for the cocking lever to be.

Zactly.... even as nice as that Edgun I won on the GTA raffle was... I just couldn't fall in love with it. I hated to let it go, if for no other reason, it represented one of the benefits of belonging to this 'fellowship'. But I just could not see it zipped up in a case or locked in the cabinet for life.

Well, I didn't receive anything, but I did send my Sumatra off to Mr. Will Piatt so he can work his magic on it and fix the power wheel, so I guess in essence I ordered my very first custom tune! Looking forward to the results!

Well over the weekend, a new seal kit arrived for a friend's Daisy 22SG. This is the rifle I borrowed when I first started after my squirrels. He recently got it back out after close to 5 years of disuse while caring for his dying wife and it wouldn't pump up.

A little oil got the pump working, but it wouldn't hold more than one stroke. Some reading online quickly identified that problem and for $7 the fix was in the mail. I'll install it tonight or tomorrow.

I really like the way this unit was put together. It's a shame you can't buy them anymore, except for used ones on eBay that cost more than the original
