another Bugbuster arrived. this is the 3-12 with side parallax wheel to replace the 3-9 on my Brocock Contour.

the old one is now on the 2400KT.

also got one piece scope mount for the HW30 and 4 tins of .177 pellets to try.

Scoped the monster and let the lead fly, thing is awesome. Ordered a monster sized gun case for it.

Can always get a dolly for it then you can add a collapsible table and folding chair for portable shooting fun.

Today I inherited from my Step-Dad...
Remington 721 chambered in 30-06
Savage model 99 in .300 savage with peep sights and a sling.

Both need love but the blueing is amazingly fine.

The Lever Action Savage Model 99 in .300 Savage is a Seriously Sought After Deer Rifle for hunting in thick woods.

The Remington is a Vintage Bolt Action. The stoped making them in 1961.

Very Nice Deer guns.... the both of them.

Since you opened that can.... Stopped down to give my land owner a check and he said he had something for me. He went to the gun cabinet and pulled out a CVA Firebolt Ultramag .50 cal. in Mossy Oak with a Bushy scope and gave it to me. Now it looks like I'm going in to the realm of black powder.

A couple of days ago I ordered some Crow Magnum .22cal pellets from Walmart. ( I know I took a chance with their poor packaging ) well I received them today FedEx. Damaged.....dang it. %$@#.
I started a damaged return and requested a replacement. WOW, Walmart immediately replied, "You can keep, dispose or donate the item, we will send you a free replacement."
Well I opened up the tin ( extremely hard to do as the screw lid was badly damaged and wouldn't unscrew). I found 23 damaged pellets out of 200. Hmm. 177 free pellets. I'm no longer angry. I'm hoping the next tin is damaged also. LOL.

UPS delay on my Amazon $59 Hatsan .177 cal. Edge. Not gonna get here till Monday.
Also, Kentucky Gun Company misplaced my order for the NIKKO STIRLING GAMEKING 3.5-10X44 AO scope, they emailed me yesterday and apologized, it will arrive Monday as well.

New to me S&W 78g.
Bought in 12/9/1971.

The seller has had it for over 25 years, and never fired it, he inherited it from his dad who bought it new.
His dad was a rim fire shooter, and used the rim fire S&W 41 the 78 copies.
This was his indoor practice gun in the Connecticut winters.

The seller is not a shooter, he is a golfer..(a golf course is a terrible waste of a shooting range)

This makes 3 of The S&W series I own, you can’t just have one.

And for $100, I couldn’t say no.

Traded a Walnut Crown in .25 for a 2 month old Impact X-700 with Side Shot Magazine in .25. I likes 'em young!

Probably won't post much this weekend because I will be 1/4 mile away at my front gate waiting like a kid by the christmas tree on the morning of December 25.

I picked up a new scope for the FX. I grabbed a UTG 30mm SWAT 6-24 x 56 Scope from DVOR for $175.99. I have been looking for one for some time and could never find then for less than $200 shipped. 6 to 24 power with focus from 10 yards to infinity, Critters beware!
