Got my Pyramid Air pellet shipment: 4 for 3. Woohoo! Air Arms 8.4; H&N Sniper Medium 8.5; RWS Meister.... wadcutters, 8.2; and some JSB 7.33 Diablos. The first three shot crazy accurate; the 7.33s, not so much just yet. Sweet target shooting after work this afternoon.

Oh, and I can't get the blasted squirrels to stand still long enough for me to make my nest and shoot. Imagine that.

Well I never heard the brown truck, but my 2260 stock got delivered sometime this afternoon.

Now if only my 1300kt would just show up.

Patience Archie......You'll get them next time.

That's one of the problems of hunting squirrels....they get squirrelly sometimes and just won't sit still.

Maybe they just don't like getting shot at...imagine that.

Got an NOS Crosman .22 barrel for my SSP-250. I bought the gun new but with only the 177 barrel. i have been shooting it like that since but have always wanted to get a .22 barrel. put it all together tonight and fired a few shots. so cool. Only took nearly 30 years. Now I need a .20 barrel. Almost had one. maybe soon.

Not quite but, close. The P-17/Marksman 2004 is made in China for Marksman in Cali. Beeman owns Marksman. There are actually two versions. One has the FO sights and one does not. The one BB shows in his blog does not. The ones Walmart are now selling do. This is the one BB shows in his blog...

... here's the rub.... same package.. different gun. You'll notice in the upper right corner... both say Model 2004.
I've been told the one without the FO is the better gun... I can't confirm that. Eric at Stalwart Arms may have more insight. From what I understand, the P-17 has stamped parts and the P-3 has machined parts. The P-17's stamped parts can be worked to be just as smooth. Eric's magic transforms the P-17 into something amazing. I have two of his "magic" guns and one bone stock P-17. You can definitely tell the difference. But, I've never owned or shot a P-3.

I noticed in Toms blog he said that he couldn't adjust that screw in the trigger because there was no access hole in the trigger guard.
Why not just take the right size 1/4 driver bit and turn it with your fingers ?
That's exactly what I did and it pretty much completely removed the first stage of travel in the trigger.

Hrm, you guys talking about the FO sights on the Freedom reminded me.

The Aspen version does not come with sights, and the front barrel band does not have a dove tail.

If anyone decides they will 'never' use the open sights that come with the Freedom I would be willing to negotiate some sort of deal for them

I ordered 4 tins of Barracudas, two tins of Barracuda match 5.51s and two tins of Sniper Magnums from Field Supply. They sent a fifth tin of Barracudas, not sure if that was bad counting, didn't want to bother breaking a sleave or just a friendly bonus. They arrived quickly in perfect condition.

The first of two rifles came in so far today. The Crosman Revelation, as sold by western Auto Stores is here. Still waiting for the Winchester 1250WS from UPS. I'm usually his last stop before heading back to the hub some 2.5miles away. I used to be first in the morning?...
