My R9 started shooting low so I ran it over the chronograph, lost over 100 fps in the last month.  I ordered a new Vortex HO spring kit and seal.

Did you perform a "tissue test" to determine if pressure is being lost at the breech seal?

Breach seal is fine.  I purchased this rifle used and it appeared to have a 12fpe kit, I'll know when I tear it down.

The upper half of an Xisico Sentry to convert for .25 to .22 is on it's way from FDAR. Spare fill probe is included. I only had one for 2 rifles and sent it with the one I sold. I only have one mag that I need to repair. Mike didn't have any. I'll be on the hunt for a few more but one will get me by in the meantime.

Ordered the complete seal kit for that crosman 38t. Maybe I'll get it to stop leaking this time. Neibor uses it to shoot pigeons. She won't shoot anything else but pigeons. I doubt any of her CO2 pistols kill them but it is sure to make them stay away.

When I was a teen I had a friend that shot a Pigeon on a powerline over and over again with his BB gun, then it shook and flapped it's wings and BB's rain down, he was so mad, I thought it was funny.

Update... I found the .22 mag and a light came on in my head...
At one time I ordered a .25 mag from Mike. I received a .22 instead. Mike made it right and sent me the .25 and didn't want the .22 back. So I took the .22 apart and tried to repair a broken .25.... it didn't work. So I tossed the whole shebang in a storage cup.
I just took to the tedious task of putting the .22 back together... success ! It works like a new one. My cast 20 and 24gr pellets fit and cycle great.
I did find another option... Bagnall & Kirkwood have them for $26.xx usd delivered.

Now, if this conversion shoots my cast .22 pellets like I think it will, I will sell the .25 upper + one .25 mag to fund a couple more mags.

From AoA today I received a beautiful walnut stock HW35E in stainless look in .177 caliber.  Only took a very short time sighting in and what an accurate fun rifle it is!  Charles

I received an absolutely beautiful Hatsan Model 95QE Vortex with a kaput ram.
$0.10 in O-rings, a few drops of silicone oil and 1 hour or work later, it is shooting again!

I also picked up a Flambeau rifle case at wally world to put it in!

At about midnight Tuesday-Wednesday night I ordered a Patchworm kit for .177 pistol (already have the rifle version), a bag of 500 round patches, and a 16 oz can of liquid Ballistol.

So now, in addition to having a lifetime (or longer) supply of ND 10 wt oil (one quart) for lubing the 880, I will have a lifetime supply of patches and Ballistol. The latter supposedly is useful for lots of other things besides cleaning airgun barrels.

A lifetime supply of pellets...now, there’s an interesting possibility.

Oh, yeah, I also ordered some Superfeet insoles and fleece pants from REI that night. The Beast needs to be shod and clothed, yup.

We used to have a cheap CO2 pistol to haze squirrels hogging the bird feeder. That pistol was so anemic, and then when the cartridge ran low, I actually watched the BB arc down and drop a few feet in front of me!

What’s worse is that afterwards, I occasionally had nightmares about trying to shoot a human attacker and seeing the same thing happen. I could spit a BB harder than that!

What’s great is that since getting a multipumper pellet gun, that nightmare has not recurred. NOT that any airgun would be my choice for self defense.

A new modem and router, a tech from Spectrum is on his way to diagnose why my download speed is about half what it was before the equipment switch even though my new account is the same speed as the old one. I was able to get a better rate by switching it from my grandson's name to my name. He had gotten it installed when he lived with us for his gaming, and Spectrum said they don't switch names on accounts but require a new account.


My upload speed is better now though
