6000psi Nitrogen tank

Anybody else having trouble finding a source? Small (50,000 pop) towns around here don't seem to have the capability!?

Shop around. Some big name distributors wanted outrageous rental fees and refill prices. Airgas inc was ridiculous. May be eastcoast but Roberts Oxygen Co was reasonable.

It's strange how prices vary so much from location to location. Down here, Airgas is pretty reasonable price-wise.

I found a source at a local vendor welding supply company. They deal with the actual supplier and I deal with the local business. $50 for a fill, $10 for delivery and $8 per month rent for the tank. I'm using less than two deliveries a year and I shoot an ar20ft at 300 bar starting point so I'm using more gas than you might be.

I tried to get a 6k tank in northern ct. And southern ma. . Most shops wont do over 4k to a private person , the ones that will want like $450 a fill plus rental ...

Just make sure it's a 6000lb tank. Airgas gave me that range pricing. I specified 6000lb but the delivered 3400lb tank. They offered a 6000 tank for $360rental and $180 fill plus taxes hazmat and delivery fees. Rogers Oxy was $5.80 rental/ month and $74 fill plus fees.

Seems the nearest place for me to get a 6000psi tank is from Memphis/200 miles away! The semi-local/65 miles away dealer will handle that part for me. Will cost me about a dollar a day when all the charges are prorated for a year.

     I use Roberts in Pleasantville NJ for my 6 k tank. They get $12.00 a month rental, and $100.00 a fill. Deposit was $75.00. I need to give them 4 days notice to get the exchange in. A gas company named Keen around here wanted $600.00 rental, and $180.00 a fill.
