RWS Warranty

Is the spring in a RWS 48 under warranty for a year?

My spring in a less than one year old RWS 48 cracked about 3/4 into and I'm going to replace it. I know I could get a JM or Vortek, but I may just let Umarex supply me a new spring if it's free.

Gator, if you go to the GTA MALL on the menu bar at the top of this page, UMAREX is listed on the far right down the page. Click on that and it will take you to there site. Look for the contact link on there site, anmd you can get it from the horses mouth. This forum is packed so full of info...........it would take Sherlock Holmes to root it all out!!!!
Not sure but if they cover it, you will probably send the whole gun in.

Personality I would take this the perfect time to put a JM kit in. I put one in my 34 and still can't believe it is the same gun. My 52 (same as 48) is stock and a smooth shooter ,but I bet it would be silky smooth with a kit.

Also It takes a good amount of time to do a side cocker right so I wouldn't want to put that time in and only get a stock gun with a lube tune. IMHO

i also had a jm kit put in my 22 34p and its a night and day difference.
