Marauder fpe rating at crosman site...

I just went to take a look at the Marauder E.V.P. and O.M. at Crosmans web sight and notice all the fpe rating where 50 fpe except the wood stocked version... it says 31 fpe...
What gives...
an actual change in the valve or springs or something or just different settings... It says just for the .177 and .22 they are more efficient and the easiest way is with springs I think...
I guess I need to look up the differences in the generations...
Getting fidgety My .25 is Due the 25th... and they are taking their time... No Biggy tho as long as it gets here safe...

The actions are the same between the syn stock and wood stock Gen II. Any spec diff is a typo. BTW, crosman specs can be optimistic.
For a decent shot count, power, and Es spread, the Mrod power levels are approx:
- 177: 20FPE
- 22: 30FPE
- 25: 40FPE
Peak power is about 5-10FPE higher than that. (stock guns)

50 FPE in .22? Not likely. Must be specs for the .25 at max performance.

thanks I have a lot of studying to do but will get to do it while sending some .25 cal lead down range...
I am hoping that later with a Marlin 22" .22 WMR barrel and some mods to send some 30g-50g Boolits out at 60-80+ plus fpe with a short string... I am pretty sure I can get at least 60 fpe with modded stock parts... that is a bit down the road, will get a feel for it stock first...
I wonder if they do a good job on the leade. some of what I have read says the groove diam has been as large as .255 and the choke is at .250-251... and the twist is 1:15.5...
I have had some pretty good luck fire lapping the stock .177 & .22 barrels with auto rubbing compound tightening up groups a bit and reducing flyers a bit...
But this time if I feel it needs lapping it will be by hand... But I have not seen any threads about it for the Mrods...
I did see a thread mentioning using Brass tubing to sleeve .177 and .22 barrels up to .5" to fit the .25 breech but I have not been able to find it to see how well it worked...
in the future could be a daisy 953 barrel if I can figure it out... want to see if a 1:15 barrel sends the really heavy .177s out well...
Heck I think in my mind I have about my next five years of my air rifle budget spent already... (barrels and casting equip and such)...
some thing to learn and work towards mastering as best I can...
just to see what I can do hand pumping... I will leave the tethered and bottled stuff to others
