3x9 bug buster

After being harassed  about buying a chronograph I tried to buy one on Ebay.  Well with my vast fortune I had to shop for a used one. After being beat out for either fourth or fifth time UI decided that I didn't need one. I saw an ad for a scope on Amazon, and said I'll just look. Well I wound up ordering a UTG 3X9 40mm scope.It was only $66 and free shipping. There were no specs on it so I looked it up on Pyramyd, to my suprise it was over 12" long and weighed 21 oz. . I want to mount it on my 1322. I've got a 24" barrel on it and a home made shoulder stock.
This scope is better suited to a full size firearm,so I canceled it.  I looked around and found a UTGBug Buster 3x9scope mil dot reticle, AO, etc. I got it for $66, It was used. Because of my fixed income I was happy to find one for that price. I have no experience with these scopes, being fairly new to air gunning. Anyone have any experience with them?

I have 3 of them. They are a decent, short, lightweight scope.
The only drawbacks I find with them is the reticle is on the thick side, so longer shot targeting may be challenging.  The other is the eye relief is short and picky, especially on the older model. They improved these attributes a lot with the CQB version,.

Your review of the Bugbuster is very kind, in deed.
I used one for 2 days and sold it immediately.
I should have known better.
I received a UTG scope as part of the package with my first Marauder.
I gave that scope away to someone in the lower country of North America (Mexico).

We have 2 of them and we like them very much. I've taken squirrels at to 40yds with one on my 2400.

They are a decent little scope but not as light as you would think given the size. The relief is short. Good for carbines but not for pistols.

they are pretty good for the price, but like someone already said the reticle is pretty thick.  so pinpoint accuracy is darn near impossible.  but it holds its zero and tracks fairly well.

I've had mine about a year and a half , on a RWS 34 .22 cal.  It hasn't failed me yet.

I like this scope for the features. It focuses all the way down to at least 3 yards, mine goes all the way down to 5 feet. The ring locking turrets are better than sliced bread.

As others have said, it's not a lightweight scope for the size. You also can't use most of the 1 pc scope mounts out there. And while eye relief is technically fine IMO (longer than my Centerpoint), the scope is so short you can't move the scope back very far from the back of the rail, which can make eye relief an issue, nonetheless.

Mine has held up to over 4000 shots on a youth springer, whose recoil is stout enough to rattle some of the scope ring/mount screws loose every 20 shots.

Does POI shift when you adjust the objective?
Can you not get the hairs and target in focus at the same time? (did you adjust the eyepiece?)
Are the parallax yardage markings off? (they are on mine)
 
Is the lens distorted (and why would you call this a problem with the AO)?
