For the last 2 summers my wife has not wanted me to shoot the HOSP. They were high on the cute scale so they have been off limits. Today we were sitting outside enjoying the cooler weather. Our sunflower patch was full of beautiful gold finch's eating the seeds. A HOSP landed in the mists of them and started to tear into the sunflowers. I now have permission to take care of the HOSP!! Than I have been trying to talk her into buying her a airgun for herself. She said "you just want an excuse to buy another airgun". Can you believe that? How could anyone think that I would want to buy another airgun? I mean I have 3, how could she think I would want more?

Then I read on Crossman's site that it serve no purpose other than decorative. Forget that. I have a nice BSA red dot optic for it already. Still deciding between .177 or .22. It will even be engraved with her name. So how could she think it was for me........

The only redemptive thing about a Starling is the sound they make when a pellet hits them.HOSP= Cute, little invasive species. Fast repopulating and depleting resources for the native species.Eurasian collared doves, Not an unattractive bird but one that tends to overpopulate. I hear their tasty to boot. I like to add Magpies to this list...filthy creatures.
