Regulating a AA S510 Carbine

I've got a Carbine coming after selling my long version. Has anyone out there regulated one and if so any preference on regulators and what other mods were needed to achieve a goal. Abslayer did his long gun back at the first of the year with excellent results with minimum mods. I'm not for sure I'll even do it until I shoot it for a while, determine which pellet is the most accurate and if the lower shot count and bell curve is something I can live with. Just thought I might gather as much data as possible just in case.

On a side note a regulator can change the favorite pellet. My MROD hated Benjamin Discovery pellets, then I regulated it and she likes them. H&N Barracuda 21 grain pellets are now her favorite.

Regulated my own 410 and just did it again on a customers 510.
Used the Dutch HuMa in both having found there regulators are the most consistent and most compact in size.
Lightening the hammer helped in using less air per shot with no loss of power/velocity.

Three reasons, I wanted to upgrade to the nicer walnut stock and the shorter overall length. The AA FAC I had which was also the single shot S500 was a little louder than I wanted but I found the simple addition of a Donny Fl LDC took care of that but it made the gun super long. The one I'm buying includes a LDC and it looks really proportional. I also have a Regal XL and love the compact feel of it also. It would be nice if the S510 Carbine had as good of shot count as the Regal, given the Regals air tube is smaller than the AA's.

Thanks Scott, thats a different place than I had found. Any issues with the valve porting or tp size in order to shoot say, 16gr at 900 for a decent shot count. From what I've seen on a couple of strings from Abslayer and Matt from SA I'd assume not.

Have kept the factory hammer spring and transfer sizes.
14.3's shoot just over 1000 fps
15.9's 960's

So ... throttling back the 15.9's to 900 would be no problem.
expect @ 35-40 shots on a standard air tube, bit more with an xtra length tube

Again, thanks Scott. sounds like a no-brainer with really little chance of being disappointed. May go ahead and get a Huma heading my way Monday. I didn't see anything on their website about where they ship from or a phone number to call. I did send them a email and a couple of questions so maybe they will respond.
