Sightmark Ultra Shot Reflex Sight

I recently purchased a twenty-two caliber Webley Alecto and quickly discovered that my eyesight wasn’t what it used to be. I tried a good red dot sight but I found target acquisition to be difficult. I also had trouble attaining the desired accuracy. I was using the NRA A36 small bore rifle target at 30’. I wanted a 5 shot group within a quarter and I quickly decided that wasn’t happening. Then I found the Sightmark Ultra Shot Reflex Sight. It was lightweight, had a wide field of view and four different reticle patterns. The sight is solidly constructed; the glass is multicoated and very clear. While outdoors I found the reticle to be free of ghosting and bright enough for a sunny Tennessee day. While indoors I noticed that there is some ghosting which causes the reticle patterns to appear to be thicker. I use the cross hair pattern because it helps me to stay centered and improves my accuracy. After sighting-in and a week of practice I attained my quarter size grouping. Yesterday, I shot a European Starling at 21 yards and down he went. The shot was slightly low and to the right but it did the job. I really like the Sightmark Ultra Shot Reflex Sight and I recommend it. If someone can tell me how to post a photo, I'll be happy to show everyone what it looks like and how it fits on my Alecto.
