Look at the stock Richard. It is sweet but still same as TF-89 and lots of Beeman Ar-1000 clones. For the price and being new it is a deal.

I haven't pulled anything apart yet as I haven't made a spring compressor...but I really haven't justified it yet...it shoots great and hard.

Well I ate my words today  I had a little to much time on my hands and made what I needed and tore her apart. Everything looks good to my amateur eye. The spring ends are flat but needs a little tlc. The only thing I didn't like about the quality was that the spring guide is a hollow plastic tube. Is this the norm? I'm going to put a dowel in the center to keep it stiff and straight. It is also a bit undersized which might explain the twang before I lubed the spring.I measured and weighed  every single thing that is replaceable for future reference and also took pictures...lots of pictures.

You guys/gals that have lathes at the house and shop are lucky indeed...I envy you.

I'll find the appropriate place to post a tear down on the Norica in a few days...got to find a site to host my pics first.

Yes please do that I'd like to see the insides of this puppy! and make sure you give us the spring info so we can compare it to the TF spring, the wire Dia, and OAL {etc} thanks.

Will do Mark. Ill have to remeasure everything...just realized I didn't have my calipers set to metric

Ill take back what I said about the spring guide od. Its actually a few thousands smaller that the springs id.It just looked smaller to my eye.

BTW -- completed the deal for the Norica which was the reason for starting the thread. I hope it lands here some time this week!

Did you get a chance to shoot her yet? My chrono came in and I got the chance to use it. My storm comes in at 730fps with 14.3 crosman fields.

Cell, yours is right about 17 foot pounds. I was waiting for my chrony to come back from repair in Canada. Maybe I'll get both of them out tomorrow. But yah, the gun arrived and it's about as nice as it can be, I think. Feels good. Need to update my sig, as this one is staying.
