Beeman R11 question

I"ve been doing a little research lately on a few guns and was wondering if I could get some feedback from those of you who have experience with either of them.I posted earlier about a comparison between the TX 200 and the HW97 and got some great information. One person suggested I look at the Beeman R11,which I have, numerous you tube videos, and I have to admit I"m intrigued. One video said it has a barrel weight on the end to make it a little bit easier to hold steady and some of the shooters were super accurate with it.I realize they are probably expert shooters with super tuned guns, but I"m just looking for the most accurate and forgiving springer out there.I have it narrowed down to the HW 97 stainless synthetic and the R11.Just need a little more feedback on the R11.Is the R11 easier to hold on target ?I currently have a RWS 350 mag. and its hard as *(&^ to hold steady. The barrel moves all over the place .Thanks for your help.

The R11/HW98 is an excellent rifle. In my experience it has not been hold sensitive (although I am aware of others who would disagree). Regarding how "easy" it is to hold on target, it is lighter than either the 97 or the TX, but I don't know that I would say any of them is easier to hold on target than the others. When shooting off the bench all hold on the target, but shooting technique is the key.

Tom, Shooting off hand takes tons of practice and no matter how proficient you become there will always be small movements in the sight picture unless you are the Terminator . Heart beat/pulse, respiration muscle memory and fatigue all come into play when shooting off hand

I own both rifles. Offhand hold is challenging period. The R11 has an adjustable cheek piece and buttplate. The combination of fitting to suit you and the barrel sleeve makes it easier hold for me. The R 11 being a breakbarrel is much easier to load also. As far a accuracy goes it's a toss up.

Hey Tom!!
The R11 or HW 98 doesn't have a weight at the end of the barrel. It has a barrel sleeve, adding a bit of weight forward. Excellent rifle all around!!
If I had to choose between the 2 you're looking at I would go for the R11 all day long.
I have a 97 with a TH wood stock. Awesome rifle!! I shot a couple with the plastic stock and didn't like it at all. The guys that had that stock have since changed to a wood stock.
Good luck bro and let us know what you decide!

I own both also, R11 hands down is my most accurate rifle. Do not get me wrong the HW97, TX200, & FWB are also very accurate. I have bad eyes, but I really like the FWB open sights and she is sexy too.

My R11 will out shoot my TX200. I find it an easier rifle to shoot than the TX. It is a *(&^ of a lot easier to load than an under leaver. The R11 will be much easier to shoot than your RWS350. My R11 has never been tuned and in factory form. I have never had the spring out. They get real nice around 1500-2000 shots.
