Hi, Jimmy. Sorry it took so long to respond! The Wagon Wheel closed a couple of years ago. I was replaced by a pizza shoppe, which eventually moved onto Main Street and also closed...only to be reopened as a pizza shoppe under a different owner. With the name of Fussell, there is no doubt you are from the Rose Hill area. Did you enjoy seeing the old hometown on Iron Man 3?

For the North Carolina shooters who have an interest, we have an active club shooting field target and have held events so far at several places around the state. For those that want to give field target a try we are hosting an event on the Saturday of the North Carolina Airgun show (Oct 18) at the Hickory Fairgrounds.

I would shoot ft if .25 at 50+ fpe was acceptable LOL, too much windage issues with smaller calibers

But that's what makes it interesting, holding left or right a couple of inches on a 55 yard target and judging the wind....

I know, I just couldn't resist. I find .177 to be a bit to fiddly, I do have a .22 I could use but I would be at a disadvantage.

.22 is actually fine to shoot with. At the last match a fellow shot a 50 out of 60 with a .22 and the highest score was a 51 with a .177.

Haha.....Hey Sean, it took even longer for me to respond back!LOL I don't get on here much. Haven't seen Iron Man 3. I think I saw the first one, but don't remember much? Sorry

I went on the GTA members map and looks like you are the closest to me. Let me know when ya wanna shoot some of my PCP's. Maybe I can can convert ya over to the Dark side???LOL

Halfway between Raleigh and Fayetteville here. I would love to get together with some folks and do some shooting. I can meet in the area or folks can come by me as I have land. PM me if you want to get together and shoot. I also do a lot of air rifle hunting.

I see that you are from Lillington. I have some good friends that live outside Lillington on Mcdonald Rd. Maybe we can do some shooting one day,.
