My ordeal of setring up my scope

Well today I had to re-do my scopes meaning remarking them for range finding for the upcoming Hunter field target competition ( I hope it is HFT, lol) in Fairless Hills Pennsylvania. I am still kind of debating if I want to use my HW 95 which is a .22 caliber or my Beeman rx2 in .20 caliber. the funny thing is my cousin and I love her to death secretly sent me 3 tins of Beeman FTS for the RX 2 and a tin of AA Field Diabolo Heavy 18gr., so I am thinking that I should use the RX2, since she got 3 tins of Beeman FTS .20cal, as a sign, what you guys think I should do in your opinion? So anyway, I am doing the marking of the adjustable objective on the front end of the scope and I really dislike doing it because it's very tedious doing one yard increments from 10 to 20 in the yuppie neighborhood of Conshohocken, PA, where some yuppies are very scared of seeing anything that has to do with a gun. Now where I live at in Coatesville, PA, were some of the videos I have posted is not that bad because those persons who called the police and I came to...lets say, an understanding. But here in Conshohocken, I'm not shooting, there is no rifle around me and/or in the immediate area and the yuppies still act like it is a sin or something and it's sickening but I got to do what I have to do. Now onward to my learning experience.Something happened today that I haven't encountered in my 12yrs of being a United States Marine, 9yrs of which has been a Long Gunner a.k.a. (H.O.G) Hunter of Gunmen. Anyway this may be something some of You may know but some of you may not. So please knowledgeable ones, let me pass on what I gave learned. While marking my scopes AO's at different ranges today I began to notice the obvious of the further away my target was getting, the line I was marking were getting closer and closer. That's a gimme, meaning that I already knew that was going to happen, but it seemed like when I reached 40yds, the parallax adjustment just went POOF and disappeared. Like it ran out or something like that. Or maybe it's so minute that you cannot range find a Center Point 4-16x42mm beyond 40yes. I was doing this all on 12x. I hope that this makes sense. Thank

William, when I set up my scopes for FT it takes me 3 days, and about 3 tins of pellets. I start at 10 and go to 60 yds. You have to walk away often to give your eyes a rest. After marking the wheel, I place the target at random distances, and check the marks (several times). I mark every yard to 40, and every 2 yards to 60. I then shoot the gun in at every yard using chairgun as a base. Making adjustments as needed. To some this may be to much, but it works for me. As far as what gun to use. That's easy, whatever gun you shoot the best. Here is a pic of the marks on the TX wheel. I plan on being at the FTRPA shoot in July. Hope to see you there.
